The Poop in My Pants[edit]

The following is an archived discussion concerning one or more redirects. Please do not modify it. Subsequent comments should be made on an appropriate discussion page (such as the redirect's talk page or in a deletion review). No further edits should be made to this section.

This had been vandalised to redirect to a political activist but there is nothing relevant at the original target - no episode listed there or in Rick and Morty (season 3) (although The Rickchurian Mortydate mentions a character "Mr. Poopybutthole"). Peter James (talk) 23:04, 28 June 2021 (UTC)[reply]

  • Delete as not mentioned anywhere on Wikipedia. Fandom's Rick and Morty Wiki notes that this is "a promotional short episode of Rick and Morty, serving as an alternate ending tag to "The Rickchurian Mortydate"."[1]. If it was mentioned on Wikipedia our article about that episode would seem to be the logical place, but it has never been included there. Thryduulf (talk) 23:32, 28 June 2021 (UTC)[reply]

    Keep/refine to § Reception, now that that exists. -- Tamzin (she/they) | o toki tawa mi. 10:05, 5 July 2021 (UTC)[reply]
  • Delete. Too soon per Tamzin. Jay (Talk) 17:07, 30 June 2021 (UTC)[reply]
  • Keep. I added a Reception section to the article and will add more to this later. The redirect can link to this section (there is not enough criticism for a separate article as we have for Windows 10 – at least for now). Ghettoblaster (talk) 19:38, 1 July 2021 (UTC)[reply]

Similar redirects for seasons 1931-2001

Delete to encourage article creation. BeanieFan11 (talk) 19:48, 28 June 2021 (UTC)[reply]

  • @BeanieFan11: Might I suggest you move the two Rockets ones to their own section? There's enough of a risk of a WP:TRAINWRECK here as it is.
With that in mind, I'll only be !voting regarding the Appalachian State ones. My assumption here is that most of these seasons would not be notable enough for an article. But perhaps there are a few particularly notable seasons worth mentioning, but a TRAINWRECK is more likely if we litigate that season-by-season here. Given that the list does cover every individual season at least briefly, retarget all to List of Appalachian State Mountaineers football seasons, with no prejudice against speedy renominations for individual seasons. -- Tamzin (she/they) | o toki tawa mi. 02:42, 29 June 2021 (UTC)[reply]
Worth noting that none of these but the first has been tagged with {{subst:rfd}}. I could do so with a quick AWB run, but I'm not sure if it actually matters, so holding off for now. -- Tamzin (she/they) | o toki tawa mi. 10:03, 5 July 2021 (UTC)[reply]

Is this referring to the Kansas City Royals, Kansas City Cowboys (American Association), Kansas City Blue Stockings, Kansas City Monarchs, Kansas City Athletics, Kansas City Blues (American Association), or the Kansas City Blues (Western League)? Hopelessly ambiguous, and doesn't seem like a common enough search term to be worth disambiguation. Hog Farm Talk 13:43, 28 June 2021 (UTC)[reply]

Climate change is a hoax[edit]

No incoming links, has only cracked 10 monthly pageviews once in six years. Not mentioned at target article. Famously uttered by Donald Trump, phrase appears verbatim several times in other articles, usually as a direct quote. Not seeing any one ideal target. Sangdeboeuf (talk) 12:49, 28 June 2021 (UTC) edited 21:36, 29 June 2021 (UTC)[reply]

I was mistaken about the Donald Trump connection. Since this is not a name or phrase strongly associated with any one topic, but is a non-neutral statement (similar to hundreds of others that could be created), I suggest we delete this. —Sangdeboeuf (talk) 05:21, 30 June 2021 (UTC)[reply]
  • Comment Climate change hoax redirects to the denial page. AngusW🐶🐶F (barksniff) 14:32, 28 June 2021 (UTC)[reply]
  • Delete "Climate change is a hoax" but keep "Climate change hoax"; the former is not used and not-NPOV. The latter is at least neutrally ambiguous. NewsAndEventsGuy (talk) 15:14, 28 June 2021 (UTC)[reply]
  • While pageviews are pretty low, the fact that this has been used "famously" is reason enough to consider it a plausible search term. Keeping in mind that redirects do not need to be neutral, but generally should point to an article discussing their non-neutrality, the current target seems optimal. Keep. -- Tamzin (she/they) | o toki tawa mi. 02:47, 29 June 2021 (UTC)[reply]
    • OK, but the current target doesn't discuss the term's non-neutrality or mention it at all (at least not word-for-word). --Sangdeboeuf (talk) 03:13, 29 June 2021 (UTC)[reply]
I don't think it needs to mention it word-for-word. It discusses the usage of the word hoax to describe climate change at Climate change denial § Conspiracy theories, which is what matters. I wouldn't be opposed to refining to that section, but I think the word "denial" in this article's title, as well as the article's first sentence, makes it clear enough that hoax is not an accurate word. -- Tamzin (she/they) | o toki tawa mi. 03:19, 29 June 2021 (UTC)[reply]
Turns out I was wrong about Trump saying this. While Trump has called global warming a "hoax" numerous times, the exact wording "climate change is a hoax" more likely comes from others paraphrasing Trump. --Sangdeboeuf (talk) 21:36, 29 June 2021 (UTC)[reply]

Looks like an unlikely title, especially given the repetition ("pop pop"), and not mentioned at target. ~~~~

  • weak keep. Searching twitter for "Super pop pop music" as an exact phrase (the blacklist prevents a link) shows that the redirect was not created in error and is pointing at the only possible target. The 10 October 2020 post here (I can't work out how to link to it individually) suggests it might be a lyric or something similar, so it seems a plausible search term. If you're searching for this then the redirect will take you exactly where you expect, so the lack of mention isn't hugely problematic. Thryduulf (talk) 10:01, 21 June 2021 (UTC)[reply]
  • Delete I don't see any media title with this particular name, not like the 20+ or so titles listed on Pop'n Music. AngusW🐶🐶F (barksniff) 15:28, 22 June 2021 (UTC)[reply]
