The result of the discussion was retarget to Wall of the Sun and Wall of the Moon. (non-admin closure) Kori (@) 18:16, 26 April 2020 (UTC)[reply]

Incredibly obscure Tolkien concept. Not mentioned anywhere, no WP:ATT issues with deletion. Retarget to Wall of the Sun and Wall of the Moon or delete, whichever is viewed to be more appropriate. Hog Farm (talk) 18:28, 13 April 2020 (UTC)[reply]

Xander's ligament[edit]

The following is an archived discussion concerning one or more redirects. Please do not modify it. Subsequent comments should be made on an appropriate discussion page (such as the redirect's talk page or in a deletion review). No further edits should be made to this section.
The result of the discussion was delete. signed, Rosguill talk 22:27, 28 April 2020 (UTC)[reply]

Neologism created by a YouTuber that subsequently made its way into a peer-reviewed journal article. See [1]. gobonobo + c 20:37, 21 April 2020 (UTC)[reply]

  • Comment: This name also spread to other materials ("a textbook [and] a medical curriculum" according to the BuzzFeed article), and so may be a plausible search term for readers using those sources. I'm not sure if that's a strong enough reason to keep these. Glades12 (talk) 15:20, 22 April 2020 (UTC)[reply]
Delete. The others' comments have swayed me. Glades12 (talk) 18:35, 27 April 2020 (UTC)[reply]
  • Counter-comment - strong delete. This is NOT a strong enough reason to keep this. I originally noted this (see our WikiProject Anatomy archives: Wikipedia_talk:WikiProject_Anatomy/Archive_11#And_so_it_begins). There are millions of journal articles and teaching slides out there and by preserving this we are doing the world a disservice and incentivising the (probably humorously intentioned, but still not in line with our goals) behaviour of the original prankster. These should be deleted. --Tom (LT) (talk) 09:39, 23 April 2020 (UTC)[reply]
  • Delete both - Wikipedia shouldn't legitimatize nonsense. CoffeeWithMarkets (talk) 14:29, 27 April 2020 (UTC)[reply]

Early English language[edit]

The following is an archived discussion concerning one or more redirects. Please do not modify it. Subsequent comments should be made on an appropriate discussion page (such as the redirect's talk page or in a deletion review). No further edits should be made to this section.
The result of the discussion was Retarget to Early English. Ruslik_Zero 20:50, 30 April 2020 (UTC)[reply]

Ambiguous term, could also refer to Old English. Searching on Google Scholar, virtually all use of this phrase was to refer to "early English language learning" or contextually-early translations of texts. I would suggest deletion. Contrast against Early English (1500-1700), which is not a terribly likely search term but at least is unambiguous. signed, Rosguill talk 19:41, 21 April 2020 (UTC)[reply]

  • Delete both - I agree. The ambiguity makes these unhelpful. 71.170.209.55 (talk) 20:16, 21 April 2020 (UTC)[reply]
  • There's a dab page at Early English – for as long as it exists, the two redirects should point there. – Uanfala (talk) 13:15, 22 April 2020 (UTC)[reply]
  • Retarget per Uanfala. --JBL (talk) 13:47, 22 April 2020 (UTC)[reply]
  • Retarget to DAB page Early English as {{r from incomplete disambiguation}}. Narky Blert (talk) 14:14, 22 April 2020 (UTC)[reply]
  • Weak oppose retargeting the first one. The proposed new target only lists one language besides see also's (and nothing about learning/translating English), so the nominator's concern would still apply. No opinion regarding the second. Glades12 (talk) 15:06, 22 April 2020 (UTC)[reply]
I was under the impression that in those uses, the term was a partial match: "early English learning" is the early learning of English, not the learning of Early English. – Uanfala (talk) 15:50, 23 April 2020 (UTC)[reply]
  • Retarget both to Early English. J947 [cont] 21:19, 26 April 2020 (UTC)[reply]
  • Retarget to Early English. Use the disam page because it exists.—Naddruf (talk ~ contribs) 20:17, 29 April 2020 (UTC)[reply]

Mario Morrison[edit]

The following is an archived discussion concerning one or more redirects. Please do not modify it. Subsequent comments should be made on an appropriate discussion page (such as the redirect's talk page or in a deletion review). No further edits should be made to this section.
The result of the discussion was Delete. Ruslik_Zero 20:47, 30 April 2020 (UTC)[reply]

Implausible search term, a misspelling of Wayne's relatively obscure birth name. I would suggest deletion. signed, Rosguill talk 19:37, 21 April 2020 (UTC)[reply]

  • Delete, changes the name complete, this could be a whole other person. Hog Farm (talk) 22:09, 21 April 2020 (UTC)[reply]
  • Delete. Implausible misspelling which makes him look like an Italian plumber. Narky Blert (talk) 14:16, 22 April 2020 (UTC)[reply]

EHPAD[edit]

The following is an archived discussion concerning one or more redirects. Please do not modify it. Subsequent comments should be made on an appropriate discussion page (such as the redirect's talk page or in a deletion review). No further edits should be made to this section.
The result of the discussion was Delete. Ruslik_Zero 20:46, 30 April 2020 (UTC)[reply]

Not mentioned at the target. EHPAD appears to refer to a French palliative care institute (frWiki article). The acronym is mentioned in a few scattered places in English Wikipedia, but there isn't a good redirect target. I would suggest deletion in order to encourage article creation. signed, Rosguill talk 19:28, 21 April 2020 (UTC)[reply]

  • Delete to encourage article creation per nom. At first glance, there's plenty of meat in the French article to justify translation, and there could be a dozen links-in from existing English articles. Narky Blert (talk) 14:21, 22 April 2020 (UTC)[reply]
  • Delete - I agree. WP:REDLINK appears to apply here. CoffeeWithMarkets (talk) 19:02, 22 April 2020 (UTC)[reply]

The result of the discussion was No consensus. Retargeting the first one per a suggestion that is preferable to keeping, but the discussion itself was no consensus across the board. signed, Rosguill talk 22:26, 28 April 2020 (UTC)[reply]

Another old R from subpage without any mention in the target article. 1234qwer1234qwer4 (talk) 17:34, 12 April 2020 (UTC)[reply]

The result of the discussion was retarget /Economy to Palmyra Atoll#Economy, no consensus for the other two signed, Rosguill talk 22:19, 28 April 2020 (UTC)[reply]

Old R from subpage, but there is no information given on the topic. 1234qwer1234qwer4 (talk) 17:17, 12 April 2020 (UTC)[reply]

  • Keep the histories as historical, but I'm not opposed to a retarget where possible. J947 [cont] 20:52, 12 April 2020 (UTC)[reply]
  • Delete. There is no useful page history. DrKay (talk) 10:59, 13 April 2020 (UTC)[reply]
  • Refine Palmyra Atoll/Economy to Palmyra Atoll#Economy per J947 (people might be looking for that specific section), but delete the others as the article doesn't explain anything about its demographics or transportation. Regards, SONIC678 14:12, 13 April 2020 (UTC)[reply]
  • Comment – from K4: Links that have existed for a significant length of time, including CamelCase links and old subpage links, should be left alone in case there are any existing links on external pages pointing to them. Palmyra Atoll/Transportation is from May 2001 and is harmless; there is no reason whatsoever to delete the history on any of these redirects. J947 [cont] 02:10, 14 April 2020 (UTC)[reply]

Most of these eleven were left over from page moves to the correct spellings, and they don't seem to get very many pageviews now, regardless if we've ever seen or even been fooballers footballers. Regards, SONIC678 19:20, 21 April 2020 (UTC)[reply]

Note: This discussion has been included in WikiProject Football's list of association football-related deletions. --BDD (talk) 19:34, 21 April 2020 (UTC)[reply]

  • Delete - not needed. GiantSnowman 12:04, 22 April 2020 (UTC)[reply]
  • Keep all as helpful and unambiguous, nothing is to be gained by deleting these redirects. Stop ignoring K4 and RHARMFUL please. J947 [cont] 21:22, 26 April 2020 (UTC)[reply]
  • Delete all due to their misspelled disambiguators, and especially since Fooball, Fooballer, and Fooballers have never existed (and should never exist) on the English Wikipedia, proving these to not be a likely or plausible misspellings. Steel1943 (talk) 14:09, 28 April 2020 (UTC)[reply]

Whether or not we've played baskeball basketball, I'm not sure if this is a plausible misspelling, which seems to be why the second and third were moved to their current titles (the first started out as a duplicate article in 2006 before being blanked and redirected three months later to the correctly spelled counterpart, which is now also a redirect to its target).
