The result of the discussion was speedy keep. Withdrawing nomination per keep votes below. signed, Rosguill talk 18:46, 29 December 2019 (UTC)[reply]

The only John mentioned at the target is a competitor of Crapper's, John Bolding. I would suggest deletion unless a justification can be provided. signed, Rosguill talk 23:49, 18 December 2019 (UTC)[reply]

The redirect is in reference to a common misconception that the inventor of the flush toilet was "John Crapper." https://www.google.com/search?hl=en&q=%22john%20crapper%22 People might reasonably enter the name "John Crapper" into Wikipedia, and should be properly redirected to the actual basis of this legend, Sir Thomas Crapper. פֿינצטערניש (Fintsternish), she/her (talk) 23:53, 18 December 2019 (UTC)[reply]
  • Keep per פֿינצטערניש. There is apparently a popular misconception that Mr Crapper's first name was John, and there aren't any other John Crappers mentioned on Wikipedia. – Uanfala (talk) 16:49, 29 December 2019 (UTC)[reply]

The result of the discussion was disambiguate. signed, Rosguill talk 00:50, 26 December 2019 (UTC)[reply]

Delete, no discussion of this term in the article. Seems to be a users idea of an alternative name of this song based off the N*Sync song "Pop". Andrzejbanas (talk) 17:17, 6 December 2019 (UTC)[reply]

Bulwark[edit]

The following is an archived discussion concerning one or more redirects. Please do not modify it. Subsequent comments should be made on an appropriate discussion page (such as the redirect's talk page or in a deletion review). No further edits should be made to this section.
The result of the discussion was Move Bulwark (disambiguation) to Bulwark, and retarget Bulwarks there. (non-admin closure) Steel1943 (talk) 16:24, 30 December 2019 (UTC)[reply]

Suggest redirecting this to Bulwark (disambiguation) instead of Bastion. The word is commonly used to describe both bastion fortifications and a part of a ship, and incoming links are broadly split between these two meanings. Lord Belbury (talk) 09:41, 6 December 2019 (UTC)[reply]

  • N.b., Rather than retargeting to the disambiguation page, you'd want to move it over the redirect, so "Bulwark" would be the location of the disambiguation page. See WP:MALPLACED. --BDD (talk) 15:43, 6 December 2019 (UTC)[reply]
  • Support BDD's suggestion as the proper way of implementing nom's suggestion. signed, Rosguill talk 00:40, 7 December 2019 (UTC)[reply]
  • Move Bulwark (disambiguation) over Bulwark per BDD and remove top hatnote at Bastion. There are 2 common uses of "bulwark": I've restructured the disambiguation page to illustrate. Shhhnotsoloud (talk) 09:41, 7 December 2019 (UTC)[reply]
Can we add Bulwarks to this nomination please. Shhhnotsoloud (talk) 09:47, 7 December 2019 (UTC)[reply]
@Shhhnotsoloud:  Done. Thryduulf (talk) 00:45, 8 December 2019 (UTC)[reply]
Relisted to generate a more thorough discussion and clearer consensus.
Relisting comment: There are a fair number of incoming links to these. Are we comfortable leaving that to future cleanup? At a glance, more seem to be referring to the ship part.

The possessive term is ambiguous and I'm not sure there's any particular affinity to the wife of Muhammad. I suggest delete. Shhhnotsoloud (talk) 16:52, 18 December 2019 (UTC)[reply]

  • Delete. A terminal 's (possessive case) is only useful if it's part of a proper name such as Macy's. Narky Blert (talk) 12:27, 24 December 2019 (UTC)[reply]

The first is the codename for the planet of the Shadows. The second is another planet in the Babylon 5 universe. These should have linked to List of locations in Babylon 5, but that was deleted so it now leads to main article where it doesn't appear once. Gonnym (talk) 10:16, 18 December 2019 (UTC)[reply]

The result of the discussion was speedy delete. implausible redirect. — RHaworth (talk · contribs) 19:02, 18 December 2019 (UTC)[reply]

I'm not seeing any indication at the target article or in its sources that this is an alternative name for the subject. I would suggest deletion unless a justification can be provided. signed, Rosguill talk 03:59, 18 December 2019 (UTC)[reply]

This redirect was based on an edit which was probably minor vandalism so I agree it should be deleted.--Johnsoniensis (talk) 10:10, 18 December 2019 (UTC)[reply]

Not mentioned at target. Probably some sort of SEO spam (the phrase "fat burning plant" could be associated with Hoodia gordonii, along with other plants). Not a likely search term without "fat" Plantdrew (talk) 00:57, 18 December 2019 (UTC)[reply]
