The result of the discussion was delete. --BDD (talk) 19:35, 28 August 2019 (UTC)[reply]

Unused. It is listed as unused for years. It does not follow the standard wikiproject redirects convention. Magioladitis (talk) 20:12, 21 August 2019 (UTC)[reply]

  • Delete Unused and unnecessary. It originally added the Aircraft project of WikiProject Aviation and the Aviation task force of WikiProject MilHist to a talk page simultaneously. MilHist was removed, and four years ago it was redirected to {{WikiProject Aviation}} without the Aircraft. BlackcurrantTea (talk) 05:57, 26 August 2019 (UTC)[reply]

Both redirects are typo page creations that were corrected less than 10 minutes later. As they are in the Template: namespace, they seem unlikely to be useful as plausible typos. –Sonicwave talk 19:13, 21 August 2019 (UTC)[reply]

The result of the discussion was speedy delete. Deleted by Athaenara per WP:T3 and WP:G7. PC78 (talk) 01:28, 22 August 2019 (UTC)[reply]

I'm not too sure about the utility of the redirect; unlike the other "Please leave this line alone" templates, this doesn't refer to a sandbox header, and the target template is substed anyway. –Sonicwave talk 18:33, 21 August 2019 (UTC)[reply]

Neither am I, and I wrote the thing. You can go ahead and delete this.--Launchballer 21:50, 21 August 2019 (UTC)[reply]

The result of the discussion was no consensus. --BDD (talk) 16:21, 28 August 2019 (UTC)[reply]

Wrong translation (the correct translation is "The Network"); furthermore, the disambiguation "Italy" doesn't help in any way to understand the content of the page. It should be deleted. Scia Della Cometa (talk) 09:39, 9 August 2019 (UTC)[reply]

  • Keep, party does seem to be referred to as The Net sometimes (e.g. [4]), which makes sense as a shorthand. Since there is more than one net, the disambiguation is okay. ---- Patar knight - chat/contributions 15:55, 21 August 2019 (UTC)[reply]

The result of the discussion was retarget to Hitler family. --BDD (talk) 16:16, 28 August 2019 (UTC)[reply]

Not an alternative spelling, no one listed on the page has the name "Hüttler". I would suggest deletion. signed, Rosguill talk 17:39, 21 August 2019 (UTC)[reply]

Oppose: I read that the name "Hitler" comes from the name "Hüttler". So I think the redirect is useful. —Yours sincerely, Soumyabrata (contributionssubpages) 17:44, 21 August 2019 (UTC)[reply]
@Soumya-8974: By oppose, do you refer to keep? James-the-Charizard (talk) 17:49, 21 August 2019 (UTC)[reply]
If you read that in a reliable source, by all means add that to the article and add a citation, in which case we can keep the redirect. But without any mention in the article it's confusing (and if that claim can't be backed up in a reliable source, possibly misleading). signed, Rosguill talk 18:25, 21 August 2019 (UTC)[reply]
Suggestion: @Rosguill: The redirect could be changed to Hitler family which does mention Hiedler and Hüttler as variant spellings, referenced to Kershaw, Ian (1999) Hitler 1889–1936: Hubris. Hiedler is already a redirect to Hitler family. TSventon (talk) 09:06, 22 August 2019 (UTC)[reply]
See https://de.wikipedia.org/wiki/H%C3%BCttler and Huttler, also Johann Nepomuk Hüttler. All the best: Rich Farmbrough, 09:43, 23 August 2019 (UTC).[reply]
  • Retarget to Hitler family, per the mention found by TSventon. Trollinger mentions "Huttler" but not "Hüttler", so I doubt that a disambiguation page for it and the Hitler family would be useful. Nyttend (talk) 01:45, 26 August 2019 (UTC)[reply]

The result of the discussion was delete. --BDD (talk) 15:59, 28 August 2019 (UTC)[reply]

Delete. Paul Mc Clean was a journalist attacked by a mugger crocodile in 2017 and the article was created as a redirect to the Attacks on humans section of Mugger crocodile in September 2017. The section no longer mentions Paul McClean so the redirect is confusing. The only links to the redirect are an error (Nile Niami refers to architect Paul McClean) and a reference to vandalism (which appears to have been deleted) on a user talk page. Extremely vague. A redlink serves a reader better than pointing it to an article like separatism which doesn't really cover separatist leaders. —Xezbeth (talk) 12:48, 21 August 2019 (UTC)[reply]

In any case, should definitely not be linking to Star Wars. — LlywelynII 15:05, 21 August 2019 (UTC)[reply]

No transclusions. Does not follow the WikiProject_ of WP_ scheme which seems to be the standard for wikiprojects and their redirects nowadays. In the past, we have deleted many similar non-standard formats to simplify things. Magioladitis (talk) 06:24, 21 August 2019 (UTC)[reply]

The result of the discussion was keep. — JJMC89(T·C) 06:11, 28 August 2019 (UTC)[reply]

Making a WP:BOLD move here, but I don't think people are going to use the middle initial to find Jobs. This isn't as useful as other redirects to him. (Like Steve Job & Stev Jobs) James-the-Charizard (talk) 03:35, 21 August 2019 (UTC)[reply]

  • Keep since he is "Steve P. Jobs", and since the redirect does not seem to be ambiguous. Steel1943 (talk) 05:42, 21 August 2019 (UTC)[reply]
  • Keep; it's normal to offer a redirect with the middle initial. If he were commonly known as "Steven Jobs", it might be implausible (this redirect simultaneously shortens his first name and adds the middle initial), but since he normally went by a shortened first name, this is just the normal name with the middle initial, and it's not at all implausible. Nyttend (talk) 10:56, 21 August 2019 (UTC)[reply]
  • Keep, assuming it's the accurate initial and no other S.P. Jobs need to be dabbed. — LlywelynII 15:06, 21 August 2019 (UTC)[reply]
