Unclear why this redirect exists, Pietro is not mentioned in the target article, and searching online turns up nothing of note. signed, Rosguill talk 22:06, 24 April 2019 (UTC) There were other articles that linked to this page, which links to another page. It seems to be an unnecessary page, random, and seemingly not representative of any known person. See wikipedia:notability.Chasepsyche (talk) 03:33, 25 April 2019 (UTC)[reply]

Anti sexism[edit]

To where should these redirects point? The first 2 used to point to Sexism but I retargetted them to the disambiguation page Anti-sex because I considered them to be ambiguous. The 3rd is a new creation. My retargetting was undone by @Flyer22 Reborn:, so bringing here for discussion. Shhhnotsoloud (talk) 12:14, 16 April 2019 (UTC)[reply]

  • Comment: You were pointing these pages to the Anti-sex disambiguation page, which currently lists "Anti-sexism, against sexism" because you added it there. So you were taking readers away from the page on Sexism, where it's easy for them to deduce that "anti-sexism" means "against sexism" to a disambiguation page that states "Anti-sexism, against sexism." That is circular and unnecessary. And I see nothing ambiguous about "anti-sexism." I also don't see how anyone can think of "anti-sexism" when thinking of "anti-sex." That listing should be removed from the disambiguation page. Flyer22 Reborn (talk) 03:00, 18 April 2019 (UTC)[reply]
@Flyer22 Reborn: I considered it to be ambiguous with Pro-feminism: various groups coined and defended other terms like antisexism and pro-feminism. Anti-sex disambiguates anti-sex, antisex and antisexism. Shhhnotsoloud (talk) 15:30, 19 April 2019 (UTC)[reply]
Keep pointed to sexism Headbomb {t · c · p · b} 15:44, 19 April 2019 (UTC)[reply]
  • Disambiguate. In my view, Gender equality would be the most precise target. The Sexism article mainly talks about sex/gender-based prejudice, not opposition to sexism. Not sure if Anti-sex is a good title for the disambiguation page. feminist (talk) 05:22, 22 April 2019 (UTC)[reply]
feminist, given what I stated about the circular aspect, and that it's common sense that anti-sexism is opposition to sexism, how does it make sense to disambiguate in this case? Disambiguate, how? The way that Shhhnotsoloud did it? The Sexism article clearly addresses opposition to sexism. The literature on sexism is to not support sexism rather than to support it. If you reply to me on this, I'd rather not be pinged. Flyer22 Reborn (talk) 07:39, 24 April 2019 (UTC)[reply]

  • Keep and tag {{R from acronym}}. It is difficult to interpret what the reader is looking for. At least this would give the reader plenty of starting topics. AngusWOOF (barksniff) 18:58, 27 April 2019 (UTC)[reply]

Redirect to a user template from a title which would conventionally be used for a city navbox. The see-also links What-links-here show usages which expect this title to be a template for use in mainspace. BrownHairedGirl (talk) • (contribs) 02:21, 24 April 2019 (UTC)[reply]

  • Delete per the first sentence of the nomination (I don't understand the second sentence - the template has no "see also"s or similar). This is a redirect from a move, but the target template was at this title for less than 2 hours after creation in 2008, meaning the likelihood of incoming links from outside en.wp is tiny (especially as such links to userbox templates are significantly unlikely generally) and there are unlikely to be many (if any) old revisions broken. Thryduulf (talk) 02:35, 24 April 2019 (UTC)[reply]
  • Delete per Thryduulf. High potential for accidental use in mainspace. feminist (talk) 11:12, 24 April 2019 (UTC)[reply]
