Seldom use the invest number of the storm in the article, an unusable redirect B dash (talk) 08:10, 7 July 2018 (UTC)[reply]

  • Keep. This is unambiguous and does get uses (thus demonstrably usable) so seems a perfectly fine redirect. Thryduulf (talk) 09:52, 7 July 2018 (UTC)[reply]
  • Delete. The term is not mentioned at the target, making the connection unclear and possibly confusing. -- Tavix (talk) 16:14, 7 July 2018 (UTC)[reply]

Hitler Youth knife[edit]

The following is an archived discussion concerning one or more redirects. Please do not modify it. Subsequent comments should be made on an appropriate discussion page (such as the redirect's talk page or in a deletion review). No further edits should be made to this section.
The result of the discussion was retarget to Glossary of German military terms#Hitler Youth knife (new anchor). --BDD (talk) 20:41, 23 July 2018 (UTC)[reply]

Please delete as there is no sufficient relevance given with regard to the lacking information on the redirect term within the current target article. Neufund (talk) 18:19, 7 July 2018 (UTC)[reply]

  • Restore the article. Yes it was unreferenced but there are legit references in the de.wiki article that can be used such as this one from the Deutsches Historisches Museum. Pichpich (talk) 20:41, 7 July 2018 (UTC)[reply]
  • Delete: not a useful redirect & nn subject. K.e.coffman (talk) 02:07, 8 July 2018 (UTC)[reply]
  • Restore article without prejudice to AfD. The redirection was done as a BOLD action without discussion and so the notability of the content has never been discussed. In these circumstances RfD is not the correct venue as it is not set up to discuss the appropriateness or otherwise of article content. 12:55, 8 July 2018 (UTC)
  • Delete as per K.e.coffman. After checking, it seems that there is not enough significant coverage in reliable secondary sources to meet GNG. I don't really see the point of a redirect either. Catrìona (talk) 13:19, 8 July 2018 (UTC)[reply]

@Neufund, K.e.coffman, and Catrìona: Would any of you find a retarget as I suggest above agreeable instead of deletion? — Godsy (TALKCONT) 17:48, 15 July 2018 (UTC)[reply]
@Godsy: Thanks for asking! Yes, I would be fine with that. Greetings--Neufund (talk) 18:44, 15 July 2018 (UTC)[reply]
  • I also agree with the above retarget change. CoffeeWithMarkets (talk) 22:26, 16 July 2018 (UTC)[reply]
  • Retarget per Godsy (ideally using {{anchor}} to point to the relevant item and perhaps citing the source identified by Pichpich). – Arms & Hearts (talk) 17:06, 23 July 2018 (UTC)[reply]

Article does not describe the music duo in detail. Furthermore, this appears to be an incorrect ambiguator; shouldn't a music duo contain the ambiguator (group)? 2601:589:8000:2ED0:15DF:7A0F:FE33:90D3 (talk) 18:04, 14 July 2018 (UTC)[reply]

No mention of the subject at the article. I can't find another suitable target that describes the subject in detail. 2601:589:8000:2ED0:15DF:7A0F:FE33:90D3 (talk) 18:04, 14 July 2018 (UTC)[reply]

  • Delete For anyone who cares, this is the link between Harry Shotta and "Rap God" but that's much too thin for a redirect. Pichpich (talk) 20:58, 14 July 2018 (UTC)[reply]

Bill Knight (Greensboro)[edit]

The following is an archived discussion concerning one or more redirects. Please do not modify it. Subsequent comments should be made on an appropriate discussion page (such as the redirect's talk page or in a deletion review). No further edits should be made to this section.
The result of the discussion was delete. --BDD (talk) 20:27, 23 July 2018 (UTC)[reply]

No mention of a Bill Knight or William H Knight at target article. Likely a former local politician that was only on a "current" city council list. Related William H. Knight that's mentioned in the pages' histories was PRODed in 2010.—Bagumba (talk) 10:08, 14 July 2018 (UTC)[reply]

  • Delete per nom. From what I can gather, Knight is a former mayor of Greensboro and subsequently a member of the city council, but he isn't mentioned in the article and doesn't appear to be independently notable so it's unlikely that either of these could be expanded into an article. The parenthetical disambiguation also means that retargeting to the William Knight disambiguation page would be unhelpful. – Arms & Hearts (talk) 16:31, 23 July 2018 (UTC)[reply]

Term not present in target article, nothing to tell the reader why they have reached this article. No evidence that this is a useful redirect. PamD 09:55, 25 June 2018 (UTC)[reply]

  • Delete Olin-Sang-Ruby Union Institute, Olin Sang Ruby Union Institute and OSRUI per nom. As the anonymous editor above documents, URJ Olin-Sang-Ruby Union Institute has a history that means we ought not to delete it per WP:RKEEP's first point (though the attribution doesn't seem to have been done properly at the time of the merge). North American Federation of Temple Youth doesn't seem like a substantially better target – from the mention there it seems to be just one group that held events at the Institute on at least one occasion. So, on balance, in the absence of any solution to the irritating licensing issue, keep URJ Olin-Sang-Ruby Union Institute. – Arms & Hearts (talk) 16:10, 23 July 2018 (UTC)[reply]
  • Delete all. From what I've seen, consensus at RfD is that we can delete a page that was merged if there's no content from the merge left and is unlikely to be any in the future. That certainly seems to be the case here. The "paper trail" will still be there too, since a deletion statement would link to this discussion, give proper context, and allow for recreation if it were needed or desired. --BDD (talk) 20:26, 23 July 2018 (UTC)[reply]

Andhra Pradesh is no longer the only Telugu speaking Indian State as Telangana also speaks Telugu Abote2 (talk) 09:52, 26 June 2018 (UTC)[reply]

  • Retaget to Nadu as there is a list of Telugu Nadus there, although I'm not sure if Telugu Choda Nadu differs from Telugu Nadu. AngusWOOF (barksniff) 14:35, 27 June 2018 (UTC) updated 21:08, 27 June 2018 (UTC)[reply]
    • I don't think any of the entities that the dab page decides to call "Telugu Choda Nadus" are known by the name "Telugu Nadu". – Uanfala (talk) 14:30, 14 July 2018 (UTC)[reply]

  • Delete as WP:REDLINK the term does seem to be notable as it returns quite a few hits from reliable sources, and we have articles such as Telugu Nadu Trade Union Council, so it's not an implausible search term, but it certainly isn't helpful pointing readers to a page where it isn't defined. - CHAMPION (talk) (contributions) (logs) 09:39, 18 July 2018 (UTC)[reply]
  • Delete. The name seems to be mostly used as an alternative or proposed name for Andhra Pradesh, but isn't mentioned in that article, so a reader who is unfamiliar with the Telugu language and the meaning of Nadu is left none the wiser as to its current meaning. The possibility that the name could be notable in its own right, and that other places could be referred to by the same name, would also seem to suggest that deletion is the best option. – Arms & Hearts (talk) 23:37, 21 July 2018 (UTC)[reply]

The result of the discussion was retarget to Trap (plumbing). --BDD (talk) 20:22, 23 July 2018 (UTC)[reply]

In the context of house and trap music, this term is non-existent. I think it's better off redirected elsewhere (e.g. mouse trap, etc). The editor whose username is Z0 06:35, 26 June 2018 (UTC)[reply]

  • Retarget - I think that this should go to the general article 'trapping' since the term is overwhelmingly used for methods of catching insects and other pests in one's home. CoffeeWithMarkets (talk) 05:47, 27 June 2018 (UTC)[reply]
I'm not really seeing this in the searches. For insect trap, yes, but "house trap" points more to plumbing below. AngusWOOF (barksniff) 21:10, 27 June 2018 (UTC)[reply]
