delete, "Algero" was invented by a user. It is never a word to describe Algeria/n. LibStar (talk) 23:59, 16 January 2018 (UTC)[reply]

Not sure if this is a plausible redirect. ZXCVBNM (TALK) 16:19, 16 January 2018 (UTC)[reply]

  • Definitely not. It’s a misspelled word not mentioned in the target. LaundryPizza03 (talk) 17:32, 16 January 2018 (UTC)[reply]

Delete. Nonsense redirect. --The1337gamer (talk) 17:55, 17 January 2018 (UTC)[reply]

  • Delete per above; no relation to target, nowhere else to point it. FWIW it's a mildly-common OCR error for the word tactics (usually due to old books using a typographic ligature with a tie over "ct"), but I don't think that really makes it worth a retarget. 59.149.124.29 (talk) 15:54, 18 January 2018 (UTC)[reply]
  • Delete It could be a weak retarget to Tactics then if it's a plausible {{R from typo}} but then there's statics. If someone's looking for Tastic they wouldn't find anything meaningful, maybe some media with "-tastic" in the title. AngusWOOF (barksniff) 00:50, 19 January 2018 (UTC)[reply]
  • Delete - I can see somebody making this typo while trying to go to 'tactics', I suppose, but this isn't really that helpful and deletion seems like the right call. CoffeeWithMarkets (talk) 06:07, 19 January 2018 (UTC)[reply]
  • Delete. Judging from google results, it's a rare-ish misspelling even in the context of that game. As already shown, it can be a misspelling for more than one term, and there isn't a single one for which it is markedly more plausible. – Uanfala (talk) 21:56, 19 January 2018 (UTC)[reply]

Oracle class[edit]

Was kept as a redirect with the rationale that no other game has an "Oracle" class. Which is probably untrue, but it can also lead to confusion with real life things such as a class-action lawsuit against Oracle (company). ZXCVBNM (TALK) 16:08, 16 January 2018 (UTC)[reply]

  • Delete, too vague. Pathfinder Roleplaying Game appears to have an Oracle class, which took about 5 seconds of searching for. —Xezbeth (talk) 07:51, 17 January 2018 (UTC)[reply]
  • Delete Agreed with the above. Too vague and could refer to other topics. --The1337gamer (talk) 17:56, 17 January 2018 (UTC)[reply]
  • Delete per nom. Could also be about educational classes about Oracle software, Oracle's Class Of recruiting program [2], Also see stuff about AQ Worlds from searches. I suppose it could be a dab? AngusWOOF (barksniff) 00:54, 19 January 2018 (UTC)[reply]

Seems an unlikely search term. Do we really want to be encouraging this kind of redirect? --woodensuperman 13:55, 16 January 2018 (UTC)[reply]

Galactic Federation (Metroid)[edit]

Currently a totally pointless redirect. If the Galactic Federation were notable enough for an article, they would be located at Galactic Federation, given that there are no other articles with that name. No need for a disambiguation. ZXCVBNM (TALK) 15:18, 7 January 2018 (UTC)[reply]

  • Comment Wouldn't adding this entry to Galactic Federation make it sufficient to keep around? The Federation is discussed in the article. AngusWOOF (barksniff) 17:33, 9 January 2018 (UTC)[reply]
    • I don't see why it's needed there when it can just be linked to Metroid.ZXCVBNM (TALK) 02:12, 10 January 2018 (UTC)[reply]
  • Keep as the Galactic Federation is mentioned in the article. The disambiguation is necessary since there are Galactic Federations in other fictional universes. -- Tavix (talk) 18:31, 12 January 2018 (UTC)[reply]

Phazon Suit[edit]

The following is an archived discussion concerning one or more redirects. Please do not modify it. Subsequent comments should be made on an appropriate discussion page (such as the redirect's talk page or in a deletion review). No further edits should be made to this section.
The result of the discussion was retarget to Characters in the Metroid series#Metroid Prime and Dark Samus. (non-admin closure) Galobtter (pingó mió) 12:30, 24 January 2018 (UTC)[reply]

Not mentioned in the article. Unnecessary redirect - delete. ZXCVBNM (TALK) 07:33, 7 January 2018 (UTC)[reply]

  • Dark Samus is not the Phazon Suit, though. The Phazon Suit is Phazon + Samus's Power Suit, while Dark Samus was made from the empty shell of the Phazon once it was sucked off of the Power Suit. Therefore, it would not be an accurate descriptor of Dark Samus and redirecting it there would be misleading.ZXCVBNM (TALK) 15:39, 7 January 2018 (UTC)[reply]
  • Still, it's where the topic of "Phazon Suit" is covered. A redirect doesn't mean "Dark Samus = Phazon Suit", it's "where can the reader find information about the Phazon Suit". Alteratively, redirect to Metroid Prime#Plot. Ben · Salvidrim!  23:15, 7 January 2018 (UTC)[reply]
If Phazon Suit was created in the context of Dark Samus, then that would be a suitable redirect. But if Samus has always had a Phazon Suit for the bulk of the games, then Samus's article should describe the suit in her character description. AngusWOOF (barksniff) 18:07, 9 January 2018 (UTC)[reply]
  • Retarget per Salvidrim! -- Tavix (talk) 18:21, 12 January 2018 (UTC)[reply]
Relisted to generate a more thorough discussion and clearer consensus.
Relisting comment: If choosing retarget, please specify whether you want the target to be "Characters in the.." or Metroid Prime#Plot or something else

The result of the discussion was delete. -- Tavix (talk) 22:20, 24 January 2018 (UTC)[reply]

Delete. Michael Buscemi is a potentially notable actor, should not redirect to his brother's article where he's just mentioned in passing. This should be a redlink to inspire article creation, or not be linked.  — SMcCandlish ¢ >ʌⱷ҅ʌ<  03:18, 16 January 2018 (UTC)[reply]
