February 11[edit]

This is a list of redirects that have been proposed for deletion or other action on February 11, 2018.

User talk:Batreeqah[edit]

The following is an archived discussion concerning one or more redirects. Please do not modify it. Subsequent comments should be made on an appropriate discussion page (such as the redirect's talk page or in a deletion review). No further edits should be made to this section.
The result of the discussion was Blank. Seems like Batreeq doesn't want the page deleted as then the move log will be very visible on that page..at the same time there's a desire to not make it redirect to the main page; therefore blanking (non-admin closure) Galobtter (pingó mió) 11:15, 22 February 2018 (UTC)[reply]

One other user talk page, User talk:LewisH1993, also redirects to the Main Page, but this is because of a note on the page that makes it intentional. The "Batreeqah" redirect to the same page, however, may not be intentional because it is the previous username for a renamed user. Should it therefore be retargeted to User talk:Batreeq or converted to a soft redirect? GeoffreyT2000 (talk) 16:59, 11 February 2018 (UTC)[reply]

  • Retarget to User talk:Batreeq. It's harmful for a user talk page to redirect to the Main Page (or anywhere else besides a user talk page) because automated messages follow redirects and there is potential for a message to be posted on the Main Page. -- Tavix (talk) 19:17, 11 February 2018 (UTC)[reply]
  • Delete per below. If Batreeq does not want them retargeted to their current account, then they should be deleted. -- Tavix (talk) 16:02, 12 February 2018 (UTC)[reply]
  • Only delete if the move log itself can be deleted. Thanks. – Batreeq (Talk) (Contribs) 23:04, 13 February 2018 (UTC)[reply]
  • No. The main page is protected and you can clearly observe that it's the main page. I see no harm in the redirect, but do not redirect to my current pages please. I had my account renamed for a reason. – Batreeq (Talk) (Contribs) 05:40, 12 February 2018 (UTC)[reply]
Batreeq If others here are opposed to redirecting to the main page, would blanking the page be acceptable instead? Oiyarbepsy (talk) 06:24, 12 February 2018 (UTC)[reply]

User:Batreeqah[edit]

The following is an archived discussion concerning one or more redirects. Please do not modify it. Subsequent comments should be made on an appropriate discussion page (such as the redirect's talk page or in a deletion review). No further edits should be made to this section.
The result of the discussion was Blank. Same as the user talk one (non-admin closure) Galobtter (pingó mió) 11:16, 22 February 2018 (UTC)[reply]

There are other user pages, such as User:Aimsplode, that redirect to the Main Page. But this one happens to be the previous username for a renamed user. Should it be retargeted to User:Batreeq or converted to a soft redirect? GeoffreyT2000 (talk) 16:41, 11 February 2018 (UTC)[reply]

  • Retarget to User:Batreeq so it's easier for people to follow that Batreeqah is a renamed account now named Batreeq. -- Tavix (talk) 19:25, 11 February 2018 (UTC)[reply]
  • Delete per the below. If Batreeq does not want them retargeted to their current account, then they should be deleted. -- Tavix (talk) 16:04, 12 February 2018 (UTC)[reply]
  • Same reasoning for the matching User_talk page. Please read my response for that. – Batreeq (Talk) (Contribs) 05:41, 12 February 2018 (UTC)[reply]

No such song mentioned on target, discography or artist's main page. Richhoncho (talk) 16:26, 11 February 2018 (UTC)[reply]

I'm the page creator, and I'm sure I created this redirect based on text previously included in the article. Feel free to delete if this page no longer serves a purpose. ---Another Believer (Talk) 18:58, 11 February 2018 (UTC)[reply]

Livres (political party)[edit]

The following is an archived discussion concerning one or more redirects. Please do not modify it. Subsequent comments should be made on an appropriate discussion page (such as the redirect's talk page or in a deletion review). No further edits should be made to this section.
The result of the discussion was procedural keep. A single user is gaming the system with multiple !votes, leaving zero legitimate !votes. No prejudice against renomination by a different editor in good standing. -- Tavix (talk) 16:02, 11 February 2018 (UTC)[reply]

Livres is not a political party and isn't related with the PSL.[1] — Preceding unsigned comment added by 187.26.77.70 (talk) 23:01, 3 February 2018‎ (UTC)[reply]

  • Delete Despite what user:Lenticel said, this is not a word in English (it means evoke in Italian). There are some medical supply companies that use this name, but none probably notable. Oiyarbepsy (talk) 06:29, 12 February 2018 (UTC)[reply]

Possibly notable sportscaster (currently working on the Olympics for NBC for example) but the page he's redirected too is a college radio station without any mention of his name (and wasn't when it was created). Almost would say delete under R3 but in no way recently created. James of UR (talk) 11:11, 11 February 2018 (UTC)[reply]

War of worldcraft[edit]

The following is an archived discussion concerning one or more redirects. Please do not modify it. Subsequent comments should be made on an appropriate discussion page (such as the redirect's talk page or in a deletion review). No further edits should be made to this section.
The result of the discussion was keep. (non-admin closure) Ben · Salvidrim!  17:52, 19 February 2018 (UTC)[reply]

No evidence that this is a believable error. Otherwise we might start creating pages like "Storm of the Heroes" or "Watchover", or something equally weird. ZXCVBNM (TALK) 16:00, 3 February 2018 (UTC)[reply]

  • Weak keep. I can see this being a plausible phonetic misspelling, and the very light noise of page views seem to validate that belief. Steel1943 (talk) 17:59, 3 February 2018 (UTC)[reply]
    • I'm not sure if I'd call 1 view every few days a "light noise", more like an extreme trickle. It leaves a margin of error where it could just be bots or something hitting the page, while the WoW article has daily views of around 3000. If it had even a few views regularly I might think differently.ZXCVBNM (TALK) 01:19, 4 February 2018 (UTC)[reply]
  • Used occassionally as a misspelling for world of warcraft with a urban dictionary entry..but there's also a (unrelated) book.. Galobtter (pingó mió) 17:43, 10 February 2018 (UTC)[reply]
Relisted to generate a more thorough discussion and clearer consensus.
Please add new comments below this notice. Thanks, -- Tavix (talk) 03:43, 11 February 2018 (UTC)[reply]
  • Keep as vaguely plausible, but tag as an {{R from misspelling}} (so that it doesn't show up in the search box drop-down suggestions) and if subsequently the trickle of pageviews dries out, consider deleting. – Uanfala (talk) 04:46, 11 February 2018 (UTC)[reply]

Delete as Jace Connors is not mentioned on that page, and the section redirected to no longer exists. "Jace" did threaten Brianna Wu and Anita Sarkeesian, but the whole thing was exposed as an elaborate hoax, with Jace actually being a fake persona intended to satirize Gamergate. Delete as "zetsubou" is just the Japanese word for "despair," and Sayonara, Zetsubou-sensei isn't the only thing it can refer to; for example Danganronpa 3 - Zetsubou-hen. Raymond1922 (talk) 02:48, 11 February 2018 (UTC)[reply]

  • Delete per nom. A dab page would be pointless since nothing is referred to solely as "zetsubou". —Xezbeth (talk) 09:31, 11 February 2018 (UTC)[reply]
  • Delete Too vague. Letting the search function do its job would be better.ZXCVBNM (TALK) 11:06, 11 February 2018 (UTC)[reply]
  • Delete per above. Zetsobou/Zetsubō are WP:PTMs for multiple things, but not the actual name of anything. 59.149.124.29 (talk) 14:06, 11 February 2018 (UTC)[reply]
  • Delete as above. Wait until there's a work with just that title by itself. AngusWOOF (barksniff) 17:17, 12 February 2018 (UTC)[reply]

The title uses a non-breaking hyphen, which no mortal has on their keyboard, making the redirect plain unnecessary. Lordtobi () 01:43, 11 February 2018 (UTC)[reply]

Not mentioned in target article. ZXCVBNM (TALK) 01:02, 11 February 2018 (UTC)[reply]

  • Delete, according to the Doom wiki this is a fan-made RPG that appears to have no claim to notability. Aside from that, "fall of Mars" is a fictional event that must occur quite often, see Starship Troopers: Traitor of Mars for one example. —Xezbeth (talk) 09:36, 11 February 2018 (UTC)[reply]

No list of enemies exists in the target page. Was recreated for no reason several years ago, should probably be salted.ZXCVBNM (TALK) 01:01, 11 February 2018 (UTC)[reply]
