Unlikely shortcut due to the "2" at the end. Wikipedia:LINKEDIN targets the same location as the nominated redirect. Also, then nominated redirect has only 1 incoming link (not counting this nomination.)Steel1943 (talk) 21:38, 7 October 2017 (UTC)[reply]

Not sure what this was supposed to mean. "Saraiki" in this context appears like either an alternative name for the target or the name of a place associated with it. I'm not sure what "Or" is supposed to mean here. I couldn't find anything on google books when searching for the phrase. Before becoming a redirect this was an article which seemed to have been a copy of Sayghan District as it appeared at the time [1], so I don't see anything worth preserving. – Uanfala 17:22, 7 October 2017 (UTC)[reply]

  • Delete appears to be a neologism because there is no support in sources for verification. And this is essentially the article creator's User Name for their Wikipedia account. [2], [3]. No evidence this is a substitute nomenclature for the target article: Sayghan District. ---Steve Quinn (talk) 18:27, 7 October 2017 (UTC)[reply]
  • Delete per nom. No usage in news articles. AngusWOOF (barksniff) 19:56, 12 October 2017 (UTC)[reply]

Declined WP:G8, rationale was "This Page Misleading People Bishnupur & Bishnupuriya not same, Malla king who rule in Bishnupur kingdom called Bishnupur Malla King or Bishnupur Malla. Note Previous edit show users try to mix to page articles from Bishnupur, Bankura and Bishnupriya Manipuri people pages" - I don't understand what the nominator was trying to say and don't understand the disambiguator so I'm bringing here for discussion. List of heads of state and government who committed suicide[edit]

The result of the discussion was delete. I'd be happy to restore the list if anybody is willing to work on it. -- Tavix (talk) 20:57, 16 October 2017 (UTC)[reply]

I'm nominating this for either deletion or unmerging. The target list is neither sorted nor sortable by role or occupation and so the redirect is misleading. The redirect is the result of a WP:BOLD merge in July 209 by Gavia immer (last edit 2011), but neither of the two entries merged are in the present day article (presumably removed following a cull of entries without inline citations in 2010, although I have not checked) so I don't think there would be attribution problems with deletion. Another alternative is to unmerge the list, which would require finding sources for the 18 entries on the last revision before the merge - a not insurmountable task as all are blue-linked and many will be on the main list anyway (e.g. Cleopatra and Hitler), but not one I'm interested in doing if there is no support for a standalone list. I don't really have a strong opinion about whether I prefer deletion or unmerging, and I'm more than happy to listen to other suggestions, but I do not support the status quo. I will leave a message at Wikipedia talk:WikiProject Death about this discussion to hopefully get some input from that project. Thryduulf (talk) 18:51, 25 September 2017 (UTC)[reply]

  • Comment is there such a list published by news articles or books? Then it could be recreated. Otherwise this could be original research determining whether the head of state technically committed suicide. AngusWOOF (barksniff) 14:45, 27 September 2017 (UTC)[reply]
    • I don't think that would be the OR concern - it isn't regarded as a factor on the main List of suicides article, which requires an article and a reliable source saying the death was suicide, and I anticipate that if this is recreated then the same standards will apply. No evidence that it is referred to as a Whig National Convention in any sources. 1856 American and Whig National Conventions states that that convention was the last such convention, I have just removed a link to the redirect from that article. - CHAMPION (talk) (contributions) (logs) 01:26, 7 October 2017 (UTC)[reply]
