Implausible misspelling. Less than 5 views a day on average, almost certainly stemming from the fact that typing "Brutal Legend" (Or just "brutal l") in the search bar suggests this redirect. See Talk:Brütal Legend#Search box autofill spelled incorrectly. This redirect is effectively suppressing the more valid alt-name Brutal Legend from auto-search. -- ferret (talk) 18:20, 27 November 2017 (UTC)[reply]

  • Delete. That's actually really embarrassing (can I ask for speedy delete, just to hide my shame?). Apologies to everyone for the typo all those many years ago. Ugh. RAult (talk) 21:56, 27 November 2017 (UTC)[reply]
  • Speedy deleted by Athaenara, per RAult's comment here. Without that comment, I would have voted to keep; "ledgend" is hardly implausible, given the frequent use of "dge" to spell this sound, e.g. "ledger" and "edge" and "budget". Nyttend (talk) 03:42, 28 November 2017 (UTC)[reply]
  • The appearance of this redirect in the search box autofill suggestions could have been fixed by simply tagging it as {{R from misspelling}}. – Uanfala 12:13, 28 November 2017 (UTC)[reply]

Gamaecube[edit]

The result of the discussion was delete. -- Tavix (talk) 22:07, 5 December 2017 (UTC)[reply]

Delete. Despite what was said at the first RFD for this title, this is not a plausible mistake. It's not a likely misspelling (unlike "advertizing", for example), or the likely result of hitting adjacent keys or hitting keys out of order — QWERTY, AZERTY, and QWERTZ all have "a" and "e" far enough apart that you can't type a random extra "a" with fat fingers, and you might as well create gamxecube or gamgecube, because those are just as close as gamaecube is. • Delete per nom. -- ferret (talk) 18:22, 27 November 2017 (UTC)[reply]
  • Delete per nom. It's not one of those æ constructs so it's an unlikely typo. AngusWOOF (barksniff) 00:55, 28 November 2017 (UTC)[reply]
  • Delete Completely against having non-typical spelling mistakes as redirects. Lee Vilenski(talk) 11:24, 5 December 2017 (UTC)[reply]

The result of the discussion was keep. I withdraw my nomination. Also, it seems to be a case of WP:SNOW. (non-admin closure)usernamekiran(talk) 20:01, 30 November 2017 (UTC)[reply]

Unnecessary redirect for newly created page. Checked, and fixed all the links. —usernamekiran(talk) 11:49, 27 November 2017 (UTC)[reply]

  • Keep per WP:RFD#KEEP #2 and #3, as a valid {{R from short name}} which is used frequently in reliable sources (in fact, judging from a quick Google, more frequently than his full name). 59.149.124.29 (talk) 12:05, 27 November 2017 (UTC)[reply]
  • Keep, harmless and might even be the subject's WP:COMMONNAME. —Kusma (t·c) 12:14, 27 November 2017 (UTC)[reply]
  • Keep news articles concerning recently deceased BLP show S.C. as common name. AngusWOOF (barksniff) 00:56, 28 November 2017 (UTC)[reply]
  • Keep — initials for full names are just almost always good redirects (to demonstrate that one isn't, you'd need extraordinary evidence), and because not all the links are fixed (this is linked from [1], for example) and cannot be fixed, and because creating linkrot is just almost always a bad idea, as I told you at your talk page. Unnecessary redirect for newly created page. Checked, and fixed all the links. —usernamekiran(talk) 11:48, 27 November 2017 (UTC)[reply]

  • Keep, harmless, no reason for deletion has been presented. —Kusma (t·c) 12:14, 27 November 2017 (UTC)[reply]
  • Comment no idea if Rai has that Dr. Laura or Dr. Phil level notability for the common name. AngusWOOF (barksniff) 00:57, 28 November 2017 (UTC)[reply]
  • Keep per my comments on the S. C. Rai nomination; a little searching might find frequent or very infrequent use of "Dr." with his name, so I suppose there's a chance of "Dr." being implausible, but without evidence of it being highly infrequent or otherwise problematic, there's no reason to delete this redirect to the doctor's article. Rexit[edit]

The result of the discussion was retarget to Reign. -- Patar knight - chat/contributions 03:48, 4 December 2017 (UTC)[reply]

Retarget to Reign. The political-slang neologism "Rexit" isn't even mentioned at Tillerson's article (though maybe it should be? He has not actually left his White House position, so it doesn't seem to have much of a referent). The Latin rexit has been used since pretty much forever to indicate dates of rulership; it's one of the standard biographical abbreviations used with dates, along with c., fl., etc., so that's clearly WP:PRIMARYTOPIC, while the "Rexit" neologism is WP:RECENTISM. I would just go fix it, but figured it was worth discussion, given the amount of drama surrounding all things Trump-connected.  — SMcCandlish ¢ >ʌⱷ҅ʌ<  00:52, 27 November 2017 (UTC)[reply]

  • Retarget to reign per nominator. Clear WP:PRIMARYREDIRECT by long-term significance and usage in Google Books. (I added a source to Tillerson's article which has "Rexit" in its title, so now at least the string "Rexit" appears somewhere in his article, but I don't really see that this flash-in-the-pan protologism is even worth a hatnote from reign. It's been used previously to refer to potential resignations by other people whose names start with 'R' [2], and it'll undoubtedly be repurposed to refer to other people in the future.) 59.149.124.29 (talk) 02:32, 27 November 2017 (UTC)[reply]
  • Retarget per nom. A hatnote can be considered in the future but clearly the long-term meaning is the Latin one. —Kusma (t·c) 12:14, 27 November 2017 (UTC)[reply]
