There are two DC Comics characters who go by the name Starfire, and the current redirect target is likely the less well-known character. I suggest retargeting this to the existing disambiguation page Starfire.  ONR  (talk)  20:18, 5 March 2017 (UTC)[reply]

PS. The links to this redirect have all been disambiguated. PS left by  Paine Ellsworth  put'r there

Golden seat[edit]

The result of the discussion was delete. --BDD (talk) 20:14, 13 March 2017 (UTC)[reply]

Not mentioned in article; created by editor who added the section to Chinese school but it was removed as incorrect, then the redirects changed target due to page moves. Not mentioned in Chinese school or Education in China and no obvious other target. JohnBlackburnewordsdeeds 09:00, 5 March 2017 (UTC)[reply]

  • Delete There are a few uses on en.wp, but all seem to be about seats that are golden in colour and/or construction. A general google search finds that some sports clubs (most prominently but far from exclusively Northampton Town F.C.) run a "golden seat competition" which, afaict, means the person who sits in a particular randomly selected seat wins a prize. If we have anything on Wikipedia about this sort of competition then I haven't found it. Thryduulf (talk) 21:01, 5 March 2017 (UTC)[reply]
  • Delete as vague. It could refer to a chair made out of gold or gold color, gold membership for preferred seating or frequent flyer. If it refers to picking a seat that would win a prize, it could be connected to Cakewalk (carnival game) or a raffle. No mention at the Education in China article. AngusWOOF (barksniff) 18:09, 6 March 2017 (UTC)[reply]
  • Redirect the first to Golden Stool as a plausible translation. Leaning delete on the other per above. ---- Patar knight - chat/contributions 21:17, 8 March 2017 (UTC)[reply]
  • Delete - I support getting rid of "golden seats", but I'm not quite sure about "golden seat". If we do keep that one, then for sure we should send it over to 'golden stool'. CoffeeWithMarkets (talk) 02:59, 13 March 2017 (UTC)[reply]

The result of the discussion was Delete all. It's worth noting that other than United States elections, 2021 (which I will delete) these were speedily deleted by Fastily on 9 March under criterion WP:CSD#G7. Thryduulf (talk) 13:24, 13 March 2017 (UTC)[reply]

The only page that links to these is target itself, delete per WP:CRYSTAL, should remain a red link. - CHAMPION (talk) (contributions) (logs) 06:34, 5 March 2017 (UTC)[reply]

I'd delete those concerning 2023. But keep those concerning 2021, as we have United States elections, 2022. -- GoodDay (talk) 07:18, 5 March 2017 (UTC)[reply]
  • Delete both as with all the other odd-numbered election years until such an article can have usable content. AngusWOOF (barksniff) 17:58, 6 March 2017 (UTC)[reply]
  • Delete all. I don't see a solid reason to have anything about a "double-future" election (my neologism), i.e. one that's scheduled to succeed one that hasn't happened yet (2020 US presidential election is fine, since we have a good idea who will be in power in the lead-up to it, but not 2024), and aside from US Senators (for whom GoodDay's 2022 elections are relevant, since 1/3 of sitting senators occupy seats that will next be elected then), virtually no office will be elected more than four years in the future. Virtually all of the odd-year elections are township trustees, municipal councillors, and other local officials, and the few exceptions (e.g. our governor and legislators here in Virginia) are basically all elected for two or four years, so we don't have a solid idea of who will be in office when the 2021 elections are held in 4½ years. Nyttend (talk) 18:05, 10 March 2017 (UTC)[reply]
  • Delete all per WP:TOOSOON....William, is the complaint department really on the roof? 00:21, 12 March 2017 (UTC)[reply]
  • Delete all - I'm in agreement. CoffeeWithMarkets (talk) 02:57, 13 March 2017 (UTC)[reply]
