The result of the discussion was delete. -- Patar knight - chat/contributions 05:12, 10 June 2017 (UTC)[reply]

Delete as implausible. The film hasn't been promoted with a period, nor is it a sentence. -- Tavix (talk) 20:58, 2 June 2017 (UTC)[reply]

  • Delete per nom. Sounds like someone didn't want to pipe their prose. AngusWOOF (barksniff) 22:18, 2 June 2017 (UTC)[reply]
  • Delete. And that full stop really should be outside the quotation marks. Thryduulf (talk) 01:00, 3 June 2017 (UTC)[reply]
  • Delete as per the above CoffeeWithMarkets (talk) 11:49, 3 June 2017 (UTC)[reply]
  • Delete - I agree. - Richard Cavell (talk) 18:24, 3 June 2017 (UTC)[reply]
  • Delete I doubt anyone would type in 1953 film version of Titanic and even if there were a few that did I doubt that they would also add the peroid and the quotation marks.--64.229.167.158 (talk) 01:30, 4 June 2017 (UTC)[reply]

Ireland Ulster[edit]

The following is an archived discussion concerning one or more redirects. Please do not modify it. Subsequent comments should be made on an appropriate discussion page (such as the redirect's talk page or in a deletion review). No further edits should be made to this section.
The result of the discussion was retarget to Ulster as the most feasible solution. Deryck C. 17:08, 17 June 2017 (UTC)[reply]

Deleteper WP:XY as this could refer to at least Ulster (the 9-county province), the 3 counties of the province currently in the Republic of Ireland and Ulster Rugby. I presume this originated with Ireland and Ulster (see above), but imho this is clearly not a good search term for the whole island or any other single thing. Thryduulf (talk) 20:29, 24 May 2017 (UTC)[reply]

  • Redirect to Ulster, as that is the thing that the user is probably trying to search for, and disambiguation can be handled at that page. - Richard Cavell (talk) 20:39, 26 May 2017 (UTC)[reply]

The result of the discussion was delete. Delete, but if an Egypto page/redirect is ever created, this should probably point at the same place. -- Patar knight - chat/contributions 05:14, 10 June 2017 (UTC)[reply]

Delete. The Spanish language is not integral to the topic of Egypt. Gorobay (talk) 20:02, 2 June 2017 (UTC)[reply]

Mark Betteridge[edit]

The following is an archived discussion concerning one or more redirects. Please do not modify it. Subsequent comments should be made on an appropriate discussion page (such as the redirect's talk page or in a deletion review). No further edits should be made to this section.
The result of the discussion was no consensus. Deryck C. 17:11, 17 June 2017 (UTC)[reply]

Delete: Betteridge was with the company for just 3 years (Jan 2007-Mar 2010), and the target article holds no information on the subject apart from a mention and its affiliation with the target article's subject. Lordtobi () 09:00, 24 May 2017 (UTC)[reply]

  • Comment Is he notable enough to be included in key people? If not a founder or key person, the redirect probably doesn't need to stay around unless it attracts a bunch of redirects. AngusWOOF (barksniff) 00:40, 26 May 2017 (UTC)[reply]
  • Keep. He was a director of the studio (top position).[1] and prominent in Rare feature: Hunt, Stuart (December 2010). "A Rare Glimpse". Retro Gamer (84). Bournemouth: Imagine Publishing: 28–43. The result of the discussion was delete. -- Patar knight - chat/contributions 05:14, 10 June 2017 (UTC)[reply]

Delete. It is implausible that the Chinese surname “Kwan” has anything to do with this medieval European poet, who was not an emperor. Gorobay (talk) 17:26, 2 June 2017 (UTC)[reply]

  • Delete - I could not find any explanation for this redirect. I think "Empror Victor" may be Latin, but I have no idea what "Kwan" is about or how it could possibly be related to Adam of Saint Victor. Kaldari (talk) 17:44, 2 June 2017 (UTC)[reply]
  • Delete seems like someone's attempt to promote their friends. WP:NOTSOCIALNETWORK No news articles or coverage in secondary reliable sources. Also a typo. AngusWOOF (barksniff) 17:35, 3 June 2017 (UTC)[reply]
  • Delete as implausible misspelling at best --Lenticel (talk) 08:02, 4 June 2017 (UTC)[reply]

The following is an archived discussion concerning one or more redirects. Please do not modify it. Subsequent comments should be made on an appropriate discussion page (such as the redirect's talk page or in a deletion review). No further edits should be made to this section.
The result of the discussion was retarget to Communist Workers' Group (New Zealand). (non-admin closure)Uanfala 14:23, 11 June 2017 (UTC)[reply]

The redirect has incoming links. The target is a DAB page, on which the only relevant entry is the redirect. I propose deletion, to encourage article creation (and to avoid annoying any reader who clicks on one of the incoming links). Narky Blert (talk) 19:54, 20 May 2017 (UTC)[reply]

Striking vote in light of better data. The article still needs to be developed as it's not clear how long the organization was called Workers Power or whether it was an informal name. AngusWOOF (barksniff) 19:24, 2 June 2017 (UTC)[reply]
It's part of an international group with that name. Secretlondon (talk) 18:28, 9 June 2017 (UTC)[reply]

Wikidata redirect, not a likely search term Fram (talk) 10:24, 2 June 2017 (UTC)[reply]

I find this useful, not amazingly so if it is stopping something important then feel free to delete, otherwise thanks for leaving it as it is. This applies to all those listed below Victuallers (talk) 12:10, 2 June 2017 (UTC)[reply]
This is not your personal website (nor mine). At least explain "how" this is useful for enwiki and its readers, and how this is more useful for this article than for any other Wikidata item (or would you support the creation of such a redirect for all 5 million enwiki / wikidata couples?). Fram (talk) 12:18, 2 June 2017 (UTC)[reply]
One redirect with a similar, but not identical rationale and response

Unlikely redirect from a title + Wikidata number. Not a normal search Fram (talk) 10:20, 2 June 2017 (UTC)[reply]

True, not "normal" but I find this useful, not amazingly so if it is stopping something important then feel free to delete, otherwise thanks for leaving it as it is. This applies to all those listed above Victuallers (talk) 12:11, 2 June 2017 (UTC)[reply]

  • Comment I've bundled these redirects. They all have the same rationale and I can't imagine how any of these would have a different result. One redirect did have a slightly different rationale and response, although the meaning is the same. I've included it, but collapsed it so it's not lost and can be compared. -- Tavix (talk) 13:59, 2 June 2017 (UTC)[reply]
  • delete all A huge maintenance headache and more or less pointless, from what I can see. What if the WD number is in error? Presumably anything in WD could have such a redir inserted, causing an great deal of clutter; storage may be cheap but it isn't free. Mangoe (talk) 14:49, 2 June 2017 (UTC)[reply]
  • Delete. I can't think of any potential use cases for these redirects that would actually work, let alone any where there are aren't already better ways to achieve the goal. They're very difficult for a human to check for accuracy and Q numbers are not guaranteed to be permanent (they wont be reused, but entries may be merged, split or (at least theoretically) moved. Thryduulf (talk) 17:27, 2 June 2017 (UTC)[reply]
  • Delete all per nom. Kaldari (talk) 17:29, 2 June 2017 (UTC)[reply]
  • Delete all looks like some Wikidata entry numbers got created as articles by accident. None of these are notable as those modifiers. AngusWOOF (barksniff) 19:26, 2 June 2017 (UTC)[reply]
