The result of the discussion was delete without objection. Remember this is a WP:BLP, and sourcing standards are quite high for them. -- Tavix (talk) 15:56, 26 June 2017 (UTC)[reply]

The latter is a possible WP:G10 violation, the former is an unlikely search term. --Nevéselbert 18:10, 15 June 2017 (UTC)[reply]

An Taoiseach[edit]

The following is an archived discussion concerning one or more redirects. Please do not modify it. Subsequent comments should be made on an appropriate discussion page (such as the redirect's talk page or in a deletion review). No further edits should be made to this section.
The result of the discussion was Snow keep,. (non-admin closure) Anarchyte (work | talk) 14:57, 17 June 2017 (UTC)[reply]

The term "Taoiseach" begins with a consonant letter. --Nevéselbert 16:41, 15 June 2017 (UTC)[reply]

  • Keep. From the target article: the Irish form An Taoiseach is sometimes used in English instead of "the Taoiseach". "An" is Irish for "the". -- Tavix (talk) 16:57, 15 June 2017 (UTC)[reply]
  • Keep per Tavix as an {{R from foreign language}}, I'll tag it as such. Thryduulf (talk) 17:53, 15 June 2017 (UTC)[reply]
  • Keep per Thryduulf. This is Paul (talk) 18:27, 15 June 2017 (UTC)[reply]
  • Keep - The term Taoiseach has been deliberately borrowed into English, and actual use of the Irish language is dying out. So it could be argued that "An Taoiseach" is English. And there's only one possible target. - Richard Cavell (talk) 01:05, 17 June 2017 (UTC)[reply]

Hawaiian cone[edit]

The following is an archived discussion concerning one or more redirects. Please do not modify it. Subsequent comments should be made on an appropriate discussion page (such as the redirect's talk page or in a deletion review). No further edits should be made to this section.
The result of the discussion was retarget to Conus sandwichensis as I see no objection to this target. -- Tavix (talk) 13:44, 23 June 2017 (UTC)[reply]

Per #8 in Wikipedia:Redirect/Deletion reasons: "If the redirect is a novel or very obscure synonym for an article name, it is unlikely to be useful..."

This term does not appear to be used as an alternate name for the Hawaiian Earring. Deacon Vorbis (talk) 04:31, 15 June 2017 (UTC)[reply]

  • Comment. Alternative name for Conus sandwichensis as well as a type of volcanic cone [4]. No prima facie mathematical sources on google books or google scholar. The redirect has been deleted by Hyacinth, who I would want to assume had overlooked the current discussion. – Uanfala 11:32, 15 June 2017 (UTC)[reply]
I've taken the liberty of pointing this to the mollusk. Seyasirt (talk) 13:21, 15 June 2017 (UTC)[reply]
  • Comment. Yeah, it seems moot now. The new redirect seems totally appropriate. --Deacon Vorbis (talk) 18:24, 16 June 2017 (UTC)[reply]
  • Comment I was thinking it'd be Hawaiian shaved ice, although that's usually not served as a snow cone. AngusWOOF (barksniff) 18:43, 19 June 2017 (UTC)[reply]

Donald Trump's Russian Investigation Interference[edit]

The following is an archived discussion concerning one or more redirects. Please do not modify it. Subsequent comments should be made on an appropriate discussion page (such as the redirect's talk page or in a deletion review). No further edits should be made to this section.
The result of the discussion was speedy delete per WP:G8 as the target article has been deleted. -- Tavix (talk) 20:21, 19 June 2017 (UTC)[reply]

Nominating for deletion. The target article indicates that an investigation is ongoing, rather than completed as this redirect claims (and in any event the investigation is about whether Trump interfered with an investigation of Michael Flynn which is a separate matter from the investigation of Russian interference). This redirect accuses a living person of illegality even though there has been no accusation, trial, or conviction. Anythingyouwant (talk) 03:50, 15 June 2017 (UTC)[reply]

  • Support per nom and my comments at the original AFD regarding BLP. Mr Ernie (talk) 12:37, 15 June 2017 (UTC)[reply]
  • Keep, but tag as {{R from non neutral name}}. Both the target article and news reports surrounding the case do touch on interference with the Russian investigation. A non-neutral redirect is okay per WP:RNEUTRAL, and I don't think that any BLP provisions would apply here. BLP deals with actual article content, which a redirect is not, and in any case, the target article will provide a neutral take on the issue. An analogous case would be how Barack Obama is a Muslim goes to the Barack Obama religion conspiracy theories page, which is where the relevant content is, despite it not being true. In this case, interference is not necessarily meant in the legal sense, since Trump could interfere in the layperson's definition of the word, without it being illegal. And as for no accusations being made, RS are reporting that Mueller is investigating Trump, and Trump seems to acknowledge that such an investigation exists as well. [5][6][7][8]---- Patar knight - chat/contributions 21:08, 16 June 2017 (UTC)[reply]
Thanks for the suggestion, I have tagged both the Trump redirect and the Obama redirect. Anythingyouwant (talk) 21:22, 16 June 2017 (UTC)[reply]
  • Keep, agree with comment by Patar knight. Sagecandor (talk) 00:57, 17 June 2017 (UTC)[reply]
  • Speedy delete per WP:CSD#G8 – target article was deleted and recreated as a redirect, which led into a redirect loop. I would oppose retargeting to any article per WP:BLP, which applies to all material regarding living persons. Politrukki (talk) 12:54, 18 June 2017 (UTC)[reply]
  • Delete sounds like may be recreating prior delete, but mostly just seems not useful label or a common phrase, one that's non neutral just to post the phrase in as propaganda. Also it seems too vague (which of the X investigations) and to have and unrealistic boundary by being so personal ... if it's HIS actions, then others are not going to be mentioned ? The result of the discussion was delete. Deryck C. 14:11, 4 July 2017 (UTC)[reply]

Delete due to the lack of space and the miscapitalization of "hobby". -- Tavix (talk) 02:59, 15 June 2017 (UTC)[reply]

  • Delete housekeeping. Properly formatted redirect already exists, so this is useless. AngusWOOF (barksniff) 03:19, 15 June 2017 (UTC)[reply]
  • Delete - the spacing error makes it fall under the things described at WP:RDAB, which means the costly capitalization error is icing on the case for deletion. — Godsy (TALKCONT) 01:07, 16 June 2017 (UTC)[reply]
  • Delete as per the above CoffeeWithMarkets (talk) 06:48, 18 June 2017 (UTC)[reply]
  • Delete; mixing two unrelated mistakes makes this one quite unlikely. Nyttend (talk) 22:51, 2 July 2017 (UTC)[reply]

A fairly obscure meme that originated from a sound a character on the show made. Here's the Know Your Meme article on it. There's no further information on Wikipedia on the meme though, so it should be deleted. -- Tavix (talk) 02:56, 15 June 2017 (UTC)[reply]

  • Delete Wikipedia isn't a repository for memes. Not a notable catchphrase like D'oh! AngusWOOF (barksniff) 03:19, 15 June 2017 (UTC)[reply]
  • Delete per Angus, plus the fact that as this is transcribed from a sound, there are plenty of ways to spell it; I can't quite imagine what "Deuueaugh" would sound like, and any of the ideas I have for sounds-like could also be spelt in other ways. Nyttend (talk) 22:53, 2 July 2017 (UTC)[reply]

Anse aux Sauvages[edit]

The following is an archived discussion concerning one or more redirects. Please do not modify it. Subsequent comments should be made on an appropriate discussion page (such as the redirect's talk page or in a deletion review). No further edits should be made to this section.
The result of the discussion was retarget to Savage Cove. (non-admin closure) feminist 02:10, 22 June 2017 (UTC)[reply]

Unclear the connection, possible a French translation. There appears to be a place that actually does have this name in Quebec, that has no article. Suggest red link to encourage article creation. Oiyarbepsy (talk) 02:04, 15 June 2017 (UTC)[reply]

  • Retarget to Savage Cove, which has Anse aux Sauvages up front in its header in the infobox, and also has a hatnote to Sandy Cove. AngusWOOF (barksniff) 02:40, 15 June 2017 (UTC)[reply]
  • Retarget per AngusWOOF. Thryduulf (talk) 17:56, 15 June 2017 (UTC)[reply]
