The result of the discussion was Speedy delete per WP:CSD#G5. Thryduulf (talk) 16:12, 2 July 2017 (UTC)[reply]

Redirects with missing spaces are frequently deleted and I'm not seeing any reason why this example is more plausible than any other. Thryduulf (talk) 16:09, 2 July 2017 (UTC)[reply]

  • I discovered when going to notify the creator of the redirect that they were a blocked sockpuppet. The master account was indeffed a month previously for "subtle vandalism" so I'm speedy deleting this per G5. Thryduulf (talk) 16:12, 2 July 2017 (UTC)[reply]

Target article does not include any mention of the subject. TheDragonFire (talk) 10:05, 2 June 2017 (UTC)[reply]

  • Delete. The title of the magazine is HX [1], which is also the title of another magazine from New York [2]. If text relevant for any of the two is added to an article at some point, then that article should hopefully appear high in the search results. – Uanfala 11:38, 23 June 2017 (UTC)[reply]
  • Delete per Uanfala. There's a few brief mentions in a few articles, so search results will be able to guide our readers to the scant bits of information Wikipedia has. Also, I'm adding HX (magazine) for the same reasons. -- Tavix (talk) 16:02, 26 June 2017 (UTC)[reply]

Classic WP:XY, nuff said. - CHAMPION (talk) (contributions) (logs) 04:19, 2 July 2017 (UTC)[reply]

  • Delete - I doubt that anyone would use this as a search term. There is no link between 10.6 and 10.7 other than what is already obvious. - Richard Cavell (talk) 23:12, 2 July 2017 (UTC)[reply]
  • Delete - This doesn't seem to be of any use. CoffeeWithMarkets (talk) 04:46, 19 July 2017 (UTC)[reply]

Improbable redirect, abandoned page Jjjjjjdddddd (talk) 01:09, 2 July 2017 (UTC)[reply]

  • Keep and trout, if the guy wants his personal userpage to be a redirect, let it be a redirect. You need a really damn good reason to do otherwise. Oiyarbepsy (talk) 04:00, 3 July 2017 (UTC)[reply]
Actually, I made the redirect a long time ago, moving the page to draftspace, the draft of which is going to be transwikied. Also, the page is abandoned, so it would have been G11'd anyway. Jjjjjjdddddd (talk) 07:19, 3 July 2017 (UTC)[reply]
  • Now I'm confused. You made this redirect in someone else's userspace? Why? And if the page is transwikied, the version here is normally deleted. Once the page here is deleted, the user space page is a broken redirect and can be speedy deleted, and there is even a bot that will do it. So, either way, I'm not sure why this discussion is necessary. Oiyarbepsy (talk) 03:19, 4 July 2017 (UTC)[reply]
* Well, the original idea was that, on the off chance the user came back, they would find the draft. Jjjjjjdddddd (talk) 05:53, 11 July 2017 (UTC)[reply]
  • Strong keep. Wow, this is a rather WP:TROUTable discussion. Oiyarbepsy, the nominated redirect is a {{R from move}}. Jjjjjjdddddd, you are not qualified to nominate this redirect for G7 speedy deletion (the claim that you created the page yourself) since you moved the redirect's target page from its original location (the nominated redirect); the target page was created by Allenkelly which matches the user's name of this nominated redirect. Unless the redirect is at some point eligible for G8 speedy deletion, the redirect can and should only be requested to be deleted by Allenkelly per U1 speedy deletion. Deleting this redirect otherwise is essentially tampering with Allenkelly's user space since they may want to locate this draft in the future, and may only know to look for this redirect to do so. Also, this redirect is WP:CHEAP since ... honestly, who would look up this redirect expecting to find anything specific? (Besides Allenkelly, of course.) I mean, is there any claim that this redirect is ambiguous or something of the like? Is this redirect causing any harm to Wikipedia and disrupting the encyclopedia itself? Steel1943 (talk) 03:48, 6 July 2017 (UTC)[reply]
It was and is a draft, but I moved it to draftspace proper, but it's now going to Wiktionary. Jjjjjjdddddd (talk) 05:53, 11 July 2017 (UTC)[reply]

Redirects are cheap. Implausible typo a WP:R3 will speedy this happen 66.87.64.225 (talk) 17:00, 2 July 2017 (UTC)[reply]

  • Keep very plausible typo. Its just one letter off and depending on what your regional variation of English is, the spelling could be more in line with how you say the word. TonyBallioni (talk) 18:36, 2 July 2017 (UTC)[reply]
  • Keep - this is a very plausible spelling mistake. - Richard Cavell (talk) 23:13, 2 July 2017 (UTC)[reply]
  • Keep per above. Jjjjjjdddddd (talk) 01:56, 3 July 2017 (UTC)[reply]
  • Keep per above, full disclosure, I have made the same error myself before, if I remember correctly.- CHAMPION (talk) (contributions) (logs) 08:49, 3 July 2017 (UTC)[reply]
  • Delete per above. The search tools don't need the redirect in order to find the correct article. All the redirect is doing is lending Wikipedia's imprimatur of legitimacy to the mis-spelling and propagating it further. Is there something wrong with the correct spelling?
