WP:XNR created in the "Wikipedia:" namespace. Steel1943 (talk) 20:54, 27 February 2017 (UTC)[reply]

  • Delete. I've added Jamiatu Muslim Mindanao to JMM; a DAB page where it belongs - along with the other nine entities known as "JMM". Narky Blert (talk) 21:42, 27 February 2017 (UTC)[reply]
  • Delete per nom. Target article is now referred to by JMM courtesy of Narky Blert. --Lenticel (talk) 02:32, 28 February 2017 (UTC)[reply]
  • Delete. The creator had only been on Wikipedia 9 days when they created this, so it was quite possibly an innocent error. Thryduulf (talk) 09:08, 28 February 2017 (UTC)[reply]
  • Delete. There's no much to talk about. All the above mentioned reasons make sense to me. Rammaum (talk) ~ —Preceding undated comment added 15:29, 28 February 2017 (UTC)[reply]
    • Thanks Rammaum. In response to your comment, I have tagged this redirect with a WP:G7 speedy deletion tag. Steel1943 (talk) 22:28, 28 February 2017 (UTC)[reply]

The project namespace shortcut in this nomination does not redirect to a page that has affinity to Wikipedia project-related information. Steel1943 (talk) 20:43, 27 February 2017 (UTC)[reply]

I just created this redirect, but would now like some feedback on it. I created this redirect since for technical reasons, this redirect is Wikipedia:562. However, since the target article's title doesn't have a colon, I now question whether or not this redirect should remain. (I was about to tag it {{Db-g7}}, but I figured this may be a better outlet to establish consensus for such redirects.) Steel1943 (talk) 19:25, 27 February 2017 (UTC)[reply]

  • If this project is not known as “Project: 562” then this seems like a recently created implausible unnecessary redirect; i.e. it should be deleted. What redirects do you include in “such redirects”? Gorobay (talk) 01:22, 2 March 2017 (UTC)[reply]
    • @Gorobay: Essentially any article title that could start with the word "Project" and could reasonably have a colon after it, regardless if it's used in references or not. (Surprisingly, most titles that start with "Project" sound correct with a colon after them.) Steel1943 (talk) 00:44, 7 March 2017 (UTC)[reply]
  • I think the rule we should go by is that, if the subject is attested to be known as "Project: xxx" in some contexts, then we should have a redirect. Otherwise delete. @Steel1943: can you confirm which is the case here? Deryck C. 00:39, 7 March 2017 (UTC)[reply]
    • @Deryck Chan: I wasn't able to find any examples at first glance. This is more of an "alteration" that readers may (or may not) use to look up this redirect's target. Steel1943 (talk) 00:44, 7 March 2017 (UTC)[reply]
      • @Steel1943: My opinion is that this is an alteration not worth having as a redirect, because of the namespace keyword problem. Delete. Deryck C. 00:46, 7 March 2017 (UTC)[reply]

Housekeeping, delete. After removing a redlink to a deleted article, target became a one-entry DAB page which I turned into a redirect. Narky Blert (talk) 16:31, 27 February 2017 (UTC)[reply]

Complex square matrix[edit]

I'm genuinely not sure what to do with this redirect. We have no article about complex matrices. It currently points to square matrix, but that article doesn't really mention complex square matrices specifically (just mentions offhand what happens when the values are complex). My initial !vote would be for straight-up deletion, but I'm open to suggestions for retargeting. Primefac (talk) 16:08, 27 February 2017 (UTC)[reply]

Delete. We have information about a complex matrix and information about a square matrix, but no specific information about the combination of them. So this essentially falls into the WP:XY category, for which deletion appropriate. Deryck C. 00:38, 7 March 2017 (UTC)[reply]
