Spirostachys Stillingia[edit]

Delete. Nonsense redirect. Spirostachys and Stillingia are two different genera, and either could be targetted. This redirect stems from a missing line break in the alphabetic list of genera at Hippomaninae (see initial version of that page) Plantdrew (talk) 23:50, 8 September 2016 (UTC)[reply]

  • Delete per nom. I know zip about plant genera, so will take your word for it. A missing line break is a new one on me, but all too plausible. — Gorthian (talk) 01:03, 10 September 2016 (UTC)[reply]
  • Delete - I searched anyways, and it's really an open-and-shut case. These two things are not the same, and yet the redirect mashes them together into one entity. I also recommend deletion. CoffeeWithMarkets (talk) 03:04, 12 September 2016 (UTC)[reply]

Greenfly Studios[edit]

The redirect's subject seems to have nothing to do exclusively with the target. Delete per WP:REDLINK since the subject of the redirect seems to be a possibly-notable video game developer per searches for this redirect on search engines. Steel1943 (talk) 20:33, 8 September 2016 (UTC)[reply]

  • Delete - When/if the organization achieves reliable source coverage for what they do, then they may deserve their own Wikipedia page. Right now, we should just trash this redirect. CoffeeWithMarkets (talk) 21:13, 8 September 2016 (UTC)[reply]

WBLN (WB 100+)[edit]

The following is an archived discussion concerning one or more redirects. Please do not modify it. Subsequent comments should be made on an appropriate discussion page (such as the redirect's talk page or in a deletion review). No further edits should be made to this section.
The result of the discussion was keep. -- Tavix (talk) 14:43, 15 September 2016 (UTC)[reply]

The IP user 50.199.89.89 changed the target from The WB 100+ Station Group to WCBD-DT2, which I have later reverted, but now Anabate restored the target by the IP user. Rather than edit warring, let us decide for the target here at RfD. GeoffreyT2000 (talk) 21:04, 1 September 2016 (UTC)[reply]

  • GeoffreyT2000, Anabate deleted the RFD template from the redirect, saying the discussion was closed. I see it is not, so I reverted those edits. — Gorthian (talk) 22:12, 1 September 2016 (UTC)[reply]
Relisted to generate a more thorough discussion and clearer consensus.

  • Keep. This is not an area I'm familiar with, but after reading through both possible targets and the old version of the article that used to be at the redirect, it seems to me that the subject (WBLN) is carried forward in WCBD-DT2. WBLN was a cable TV station that served Charleston, and WCBD-DT2 is a TV station serving Charleston, directly evolved from WBLN. The other article, The WB 100+ Station Group, is about the overall company, and WBLN is just mentioned as one of many affiliates. If someone wants information about the station group, it's handily linked to in the "History" section of WCBD-DT2, where WBLN is discussed. — Gorthian (talk) 01:43, 13 September 2016 (UTC)[reply]

Incorrect/Junk name. Probably user was not able to title it as Akanwali as another article is already present with the same name. Lakun.patra (talk) 12:01, 1 September 2016 (UTC)[reply]

Relisted to generate a more thorough discussion and clearer consensus.
Relisting comment: Are there analogous redirects to this one? Would this be a plausible search term, like {{R from US postal abbreviation}} redirects?
Please add new comments below this notice. Thanks, BDD (talk) 18:42, 8 September 2016 (UTC)[reply]
  • Delete unless the particular pincode is notable as with 90210, this doesn't need to be noted. AngusWOOF (barksniff) 20:26, 10 September 2016 (UTC)[reply]
  • Delete - since one has got to type "Akanwali" first to get to this term, how would this aid search? It's implying we have two different articles, and we do not. MSJapan (talk) 23:50, 10 September 2016 (UTC)[reply]
  • Delete per AngusWOOF unless the area code can be shown to have some significance.— Godsy (TALKCONT) 03:50, 15 September 2016 (UTC)[reply]

Einstein Pals[edit]

The following is an archived discussion concerning one or more redirects. Please do not modify it. Subsequent comments should be made on an appropriate discussion page (such as the redirect's talk page or in a deletion review). No further edits should be made to this section.
The result of the discussion was retarget to Baby Einstein and delete, respectively. --BDD (talk) 16:10, 15 September 2016 (UTC)[reply]

Delete per WP:XY. It appears "Einstein Pals" was released in 2009, but there's no discussion of it at Wikipedia. The only mention occurs in credit lists on the bios for a few actors, including: Jessica DiCicco, Jackson Brundage, and Raymond Ochoa. In this case, search results will give our readers more information than funneling them into a bio on one of the actors, or even worse, a production company that makes no mention of it. -- Tavix (talk) 17:18, 31 August 2016 (UTC)[reply]

  • It would still need to be discussed there, it's not at the moment. -- Tavix (talk) 00:00, 5 September 2016 (UTC)[reply]
I'll throw in a remark on the Baby Einstein page. AngusWOOF (barksniff) 15:20, 8 September 2016 (UTC)[reply]
Relisted to generate a more thorough discussion and clearer consensus.
Relisting comment: "Einstein Pals" is mentioned, but not a film of the name. Split decision?
Please add new comments below this notice. Thanks, BDD (talk) 18:40, 8 September 2016 (UTC)[reply]
A video was made but never released, so there's no need to keep the (film) one around when Einstein Pals covers both. AngusWOOF (barksniff) 19:15, 8 September 2016 (UTC)[reply]
  • Yep, looks like this will end up as a split decision. I'm okay with that. -- Tavix (talk) 22:00, 8 September 2016 (UTC)[reply]

Seems to have been a former page name of {{Infobox bus station}} (in 2009), but that template was merged into {{Infobox station}} last year. Jc86035 (talk) Use {{re|Jc86035}}

This seems to just be a redirect created from the title of a user-created essay (check history). There is no encyclopedic topic regarding "A Tribute to Einstein" of which I'm aware. Jason Quinn (talk) 05:27, 8 September 2016 (UTC)[reply]
