The result of the discussion was retarget to Crazy (disambiguation)#Film. --BDD (talk) 18:02, 14 April 2015 (UTC)[reply]

Source name suggests its about a movie, yet targets the general term. WP:SURPRISE. Mr. Guye (talk) 23:33, 7 April 2015 (UTC)[reply]

  • Retarget to Crazy (disambiguation)#Film as ambiguous so that it can direct the reader to the article they want to read. Steel1943 (talk) 02:02, 8 April 2015 (UTC)[reply]
  • Comment this pointed to the disambiguation page until the disambiguation page was moved, so a bot "corrected" the target to the new target of "crazy". -- 65.94.43.89 (talk) 09:23, 8 April 2015 (UTC)[reply]

Pomiculture[edit]

The following is an archived discussion concerning one or more redirects. Please do not modify it. Subsequent comments should be made on an appropriate discussion page (such as the redirect's talk page or in a deletion review). No further edits should be made to this section.
The result of the discussion was retarget to Pomology. --BDD (talk) 17:58, 14 April 2015 (UTC)[reply]

Currently targeted to Apple#Apple production. Dictionary.com defines "Pomiculture" as "the growing or cultivation of fruit". Apples are not the only type of fruit. Mr. Guye (talk) 23:13, 7 April 2015 (UTC)[reply]

  • Delete WP:NOTDIC, pomiculture is widely documented on the various articles regarding fruits. Not a subject expert but I highly doubt we need an article on this subject, hence why it's here at RFD. Zeke, the Mad Horrorist (Speak quickly) (Follow my trail) 23:29, 7 April 2015 (UTC)[reply]
  • Weak Retarget to Pomology. They seem to be related terms according to my search but I'm not sure if Pomiculture counts as a synonym.--Lenticel (talk) 00:11, 8 April 2015 (UTC)[reply]
  • retarget to pomology as they seem more or less synonymous. Mangoe (talk) 00:45, 8 April 2015 (UTC)[reply]
  • retarget to pomology per Mangoe -- 65.94.43.89 (talk) 09:24, 8 April 2015 (UTC)[reply]

England u17 2010/11[edit]

The following is an archived discussion concerning one or more redirects. Please do not modify it. Subsequent comments should be made on an appropriate discussion page (such as the redirect's talk page or in a deletion review). No further edits should be made to this section.
The result of the discussion was delete. --BDD (talk) 17:56, 14 April 2015 (UTC)[reply]

There is no need for this redirect to exist; there was nothing so outstanding about the 2010/11 season for the England u17s and there are no other redirects dedicated to a particular season for any other youth international football team. HarrisonS4433 (talk) 22:47, 7 April 2015 (UTC)[reply]

  • Delete per nom, unnecessary redirect, WP:R#DELETE #8. — Preceding unsigned comment added by Fisheriesmgmt (talkcontribs) 13:01, 8 April 2015
  • Delete The 2010-11 season had no significance for the England U17s, if this redirect should exist then there should be a redirect for every season in every international football team, which would be unnecessary. -- 79.70.215.93 (talk) 13:40, 8 April 2015 (UTC)[reply]

Delete. This French commune has nothing to do with Arabic. Gorobay (talk) 21:21, 7 April 2015 (UTC)[reply]

  • Delete Target is not especially Arabic. --Mr. Guye (talk) 23:15, 7 April 2015 (UTC)[reply]
  • Delete little affinity for this language from the target -- 65.94.43.89 (talk) 09:26, 8 April 2015 (UTC)[reply]
  • Delete per above.--Lenticel (talk) 11:24, 9 April 2015 (UTC)[reply]

Kyle DeFluzio[edit]

The following is an archived discussion concerning one or more redirects. Please do not modify it. Subsequent comments should be made on an appropriate discussion page (such as the redirect's talk page or in a deletion review). No further edits should be made to this section.
The result of the discussion was withdrawn (non-admin closure) Tavix |  Talk  03:36, 8 April 2015 (UTC)[reply]

Intended target is Kyle DiFulvio (who has also gone under the name Kyle Justin, hence his confusion with the composer for AVGN) but WP:RTYPO applies, especially since this could theoretically be the name of someone else entirely. Zeke, the Mad Horrorist (Speak quickly) (Follow my trail) 19:41, 7 April 2015 (UTC)[reply]

  • Withdrawn It's buried on his page but apparently this is another alias he's used in his entertainment career. Lord only knows why it's not in the "Also known as" field of his infobox, but I will put it there now. My apologies. Nintendo nerd[edit]

The following is an archived discussion concerning one or more redirects. Please do not modify it. Subsequent comments should be made on an appropriate discussion page (such as the redirect's talk page or in a deletion review). No further edits should be made to this section.
The result of the discussion was delete. --BDD (talk) 17:54, 14 April 2015 (UTC)[reply]

A more accurate redirect, that already exists by the way, is "Angry Nintendo Nerd". The word "angry" is important as part of the character's title and serves as a disambiguator. "Nintendo nerd" is too vague. Zeke, the Mad Horrorist (Speak quickly) (Follow my trail) 19:36, 7 April 2015 (UTC)[reply]

Apollo Moon landing hoax accusers[edit]

The following is an archived discussion concerning one or more redirects. Please do not modify it. Subsequent comments should be made on an appropriate discussion page (such as the redirect's talk page or in a deletion review). No further edits should be made to this section.

delete: This was deleted as an article (see Wikipedia:Articles for deletion/Apollo Moon landing hoax accusers) and then I presume merged into the main hoax article. But that section no longer exists, presumably because it had the same issues that brought on the original deletion. I see no reason for the redirect if the information isn't going to be there at the atarget. Mangoe (talk) 17:09, 7 April 2015 (UTC)[reply]

Baby i'm a firework[edit]

The following is an archived discussion concerning one or more redirects. Please do not modify it. Subsequent comments should be made on an appropriate discussion page (such as the redirect's talk page or in a deletion review). No further edits should be made to this section.
The result of the discussion was keep. --BDD (talk) 17:52, 14 April 2015 (UTC)[reply]

I believe this redirect qualifies for deletion under WP:RFD#DELETE #8, "implausible typos or misnomers". "Baby i'm a firework" is not actually a lyric from the Katy Perry song Firework (song). This redirect is a misspelled lyric from the song that happens to bring up Google search results. WP is, however, not Google. Redirects aren't intended to cover every possible search term. Fisheriesmgmt (talk) 03:24, 7 April 2015 (UTC)[reply]

  • Most utterly strong keep - please don't make me stressed. I have very serious WikiStress and might get sick. Qwertyxp2000 (talk) 08:21, 7 April 2015 (UTC)[reply]
  • Delete The actual lyric is "Baby you're a firework". We already have a redirect covering that one. If this one is a typo, it's definitely quite implausible. Zeke, the Mad Horrorist (Speak quickly) (Follow my trail) 15:58, 7 April 2015 (UTC)[reply]
  • Keep. Even though it is the wrong lyrics, it could easily be confused with the correct lyrics. 115.188.176.132 (talk) 23:49, 7 April 2015 (UTC)[reply]
  • Moreover, the search results on Wikipedia do not show up that Firework song. 115.188.176.132 (talk) 23:52, 7 April 2015 (UTC)[reply]
  • Keep. Search engines return the Katy Perry song. Harmless, so why delete if it directs readers where they want to go? Steel1943 (talk) 19:23, 10 April 2015 (UTC)[reply]
  • Keep per Steely and above. Here we are almost always wrong by definition: that is what redirects are for. Our job is to guess where people want to go, and this is the obvious target. Si Trew (talk) 07:58, 12 April 2015 (UTC)[reply]

There is no need for such specific redirects from userspace to main articlespace. Zeke, the Mad Horrorist (Speak quickly) (Follow my trail) 00:07, 7 April 2015 (UTC)[reply]

  • Comment. Not sure about this but wasn't the 5x5 Cube designed by Professor Ernő Rubik sold in the UK as the "Professor's Cube"? Si Trew (talk) 09:11, 14 April 2015 (UTC)[reply]
  • OK I was misled. Sure, if these are WP:CNR from user space to mainspace no need for them, users can link as well as I can. Delete then. Si Trew (talk) 09:14, 14 April 2015 (UTC)[reply]

Puzzle cube[edit]

The result of the discussion was procedural close, given that the redirect has been converted to an article. Any concerns with the new page's existence will need to be bought up via a Wikipedia:Articles for deletion nomination. (non-admin closure) Steel1943 (talk) 19:53, 8 April 2015 (UTC)[reply]

As the ample number of related links on the target page shows, there are many kinds of puzzle cubes, not just one. Zeke, the Mad Horrorist (Speak quickly) (Follow my trail) 00:04, 7 April 2015 (UTC)[reply]

  • Convert to set index to all articles containing puzzle box topics, including the historical topic of lock boxes with secret compartments needing special actions to open (whatever article that covers that). -- 65.94.43.89 (talk) 04:07, 7 April 2015 (UTC)[reply]

The result of the discussion was delete. --BDD (talk) 17:12, 14 April 2015 (UTC)[reply]

This was not the only game to feature a yellow dinosaur. (And not even in a playable capacity, no less.) Zeke, the Mad Horrorist (Speak quickly) (Follow my trail) 00:01, 7 April 2015 (UTC)[reply]

  • Comment. I'd take it to Barney the Dinosaur, though I am well aware he is not yellow but on the opposite end of the colour wheel. Si Trew (talk) 09:16, 14 April 2015 (UTC)[reply]
  • Delete per nom. We can talk all day about potential retarget options, but no matter where it goes it'll still be ambiguous. It's best to delete it. Tavix |  Talk  13:29, 14 April 2015 (UTC)[reply]
