Per consensus in two previous RfDs, we don't keep redirects of "unofficial" names for Windows releases. Ivanvector (talk) 16:26, 12 November 2014 (UTC)[reply]

  • Note: previous RfDs referred to: RfD Windows 2007 and Windows 2009 and RfD Windows 92 and friends; see also Windows 2013 which is ongoing. Ivanvector (talk) 16:31, 12 November 2014 (UTC)[reply]
  • Keep. While this is unofficial, it's not incorrect and it's getting up to 25 hits a month (which is an order of magnitude more than just bots). Moreover this has existed harmlessly and uncontroversially since 2009 so there would be no benefit to deletion. Thryduulf (talk) 17:10, 12 November 2014 (UTC)[reply]
  • Keep - Windows 2006 was probably more common, but a quick search reveals Windows 2007 = Windows Vista. Any previous RfDs that deleted redirect for being "unofficial" names can be resolved at deletion review. WilyD 17:40, 12 November 2014 (UTC)[reply]
  • comment this might be confused with Microsoft Office 2007.--Lenticel (talk) 00:40, 13 November 2014 (UTC)[reply]

  • I'm going to go out on a limb and say retarget to List of Microsoft Windows versions, along with Windows 2013 which is probably about to be relisted, and any other redirects from non-existent or unofficial Windows titles that haven't already been deleted. It's one extra navigation step that guarantees that readers get to the topic they're looking for. Unless as Lenticel said they search for "Windows" when they're actually looking for Microsoft Office titles, but I'm still not sure if we should be concerned with that, or what to do about it. Ivanvector (talk) 19:26, 19 November 2014 (UTC)[reply]
Oops, it was Thryduulf that said that originally. Ivanvector (talk) 19:29, 19 November 2014 (UTC)[reply]
We can always use hatnotes if necessary to point to other misconceptions. Thryduulf (talk) 19:30, 19 November 2014 (UTC)[reply]

Vague synonym - TheChampionMan1234 00:58, 8 November 2014 (UTC)[reply]

  • Comment it's not a synonym at all, it's a fictional polity in the fictional universe of the target. However, it's a fictional polity in many pieces of fiction, so is not unique to Code Geas. -- 67.70.35.44 (talk) 06:52, 8 November 2014 (UTC)[reply]
    • Delete or disambiguate/listify as many other uses are more likely [1] -- 67.70.35.44 (talk) 07:01, 8 November 2014 (UTC)[reply]
      • We do not need a DAB per WP:PTM, we have many articles about "Chinese Federation of X" etc, and that's what the search box is for. - TheChampionMan1234 22:10, 8 November 2014 (UTC)[reply]
        • Some of those are just called "Chinese Federation" (particularly the sports federations) when referred to within their fields. And the version of the One China concept as a federated entity is also referred to as a Chinese federation -- 67.70.35.44 (talk) 03:53, 9 November 2014 (UTC)[reply]
  • Retarget to China. Peoples Republic of China, People's Republic of China and Peoples' Republic of China all go to China. Federation of China is red. Si Trew (talk) 09:56, 10 November 2014 (UTC)[reply]

Delete. Abraham and Moses are not Greek topics. The first two redirects begin with the Latin letters ⟨A⟩ and ⟨M⟩. The third redirect is a transliteration of the second. Gorobay (talk) 03:12, 19 November 2014 (UTC)[reply]

  • Comment isn't one of the earlier translations of the Bible in Greek? I'm okay with delete if the terms are misspellings of the Greek version of their names though.--Lenticel (talk) 04:07, 19 November 2014 (UTC)[reply]
  • Delete mixtures of Greek and Latin in this manner do not comprise likely search terms - 67.70.35.44 (talk) 05:47, 19 November 2014 (UTC)[reply]
  • Keep - unambiguously direct readers to the content they're searching for, no reason has been suggested for deletion. Deletion would exacerbate systematic bias, and constitute unacceptably hostile and ethnically discriminatory treatment of our reader base. WilyD 12:43, 20 November 2014 (UTC)[reply]
  • Delete even setting aside whether or not these are related to Greek, we don't keep redirects which mix scripts in this manner; for instance, Аbraham and Ѕweden (first letter in Cyrillic) and IdaᏂo (fourth letter from Cherokee) are not redirects. Encouraging redirects in a Faux Cyrillic style will result in billions of redirects which 1. won't be used, since it's highly impractical to type them and 2. present a maintenance nightmare for reasons that should be self-evident.
