This is a shortcut to an Arbcom discussion, but it is being used as if it were a link to a policy or guideline. Having a policy on prejudice is a reasonable idea, but it should be created using our community-established processes rather than simply linking an Arbcom case. For this reason, I !vote (as nominator) to delete this redirect. VQuakr (talk) 19:45, 18 November 2014 (UTC)[reply]

  • I created this. No big deal at the time, but it's probably outlived its usefulness. Black Kite (talk) 20:00, 18 November 2014 (UTC)[reply]
  • Delete it will probably confuse both the readers and the wiki editors --Lenticel (talk) 00:37, 19 November 2014 (UTC)[reply]
  • Comment: from the discussion at WT:TPG, it's being used in a WP:NPA context rather than a WP:NPOV context, though I could see either one as being a potential target. No opinion on building out a new guideline/essay at this location, but that can be done later and regardless of what happens here. I agree that it really shouldn't point to the Arbcom case though, that seems like WP:BEANS. Ivanvector (talk) 00:46, 19 November 2014 (UTC)[reply]
Expanded comment: I would prefer to retarget, since I'm sure this is likely to come up at some point, however from the links it seems to be currently unused, except for a link from WP:TPG which could be retargeted to WP:NPOV or simply removed. Delete this to prevent confusion. I'm not sure which should be the target article anyway, and it can be recreated if/when a specific anti-prejudice guideline is created. Ivanvector (talk) 19:18, 19 November 2014 (UTC)[reply]
  • Delete or retarget this clearly is not useful in the general case, and occupies a title that is likely to be mislinked to. If this Arbcom discussion needs a shortcut, it should include a Noleander (talk · contribs) indication. -- 67.70.35.44 (talk) 05:49, 19 November 2014 (UTC)[reply]

Such a redirect should begin with Wikipedia: Oiyarbepsy (talk) 04:35, 18 November 2014 (UTC)[reply]

Actually correct capitalisation redirect created by me need not be deleted as there are already too many pages like that Special:PrefixIndex/WikiProject, around 100 of them. Trotting cove (talk) 04:29, 20 November 2014 (UTC)[reply]
They should all be deleted (except possibly "WikiProject" / "WikiProjects" which would link to Wiki, as a project using a wiki is a "wiki project". A {{selfref}} hatnote can indicate the project page that describes what a Wikipedia WikiProject is, if necessary.) -- 67.70.35.44 (talk) 06:31, 21 November 2014 (UTC)[reply]
  • Move without redirect to Wikipedia: space as the creator clearly meant to do this. 2.30.93.60 (talk) 13:31, 23 November 2014 (UTC)[reply]
Yeah that's not a bad idea. Wikipedia:WikiProject Bjork exists; Wikipedia:Wikiproject bjork and Wikipedia:WikiProject bjork are both redlinks. Ivanvector (talk) 21:57, 24 November 2014 (UTC)[reply]

User:FD[edit]

The result of the discussion was Speedy Delete, G2 by User:CactusWriter. Test edit Lenticel (talk) 00:36, 19 November 2014 (UTC)[reply]

This redirect from User:FD to User:Example was created by a user other than FD, likely as a test or to prove a point. Generally, it is usual to avoid substantially editing another's user and user talk pages other than where it is likely edits are expected and/or will be helpful, and I don't anticipate a case in which this particular redirect will be helpful.
