Freeware is not free software. Rezonansowy (talk • contribs) 22:30, 5 August 2013 (UTC)[reply]

  • Keep. From the Wikipedia article on freeware: "According to the Free Software Foundation, 'freeware' is a loosely defined category and it has no clear accepted definition, although [...] it must be distinguished from free software." That is clearly done at P:FS, so it's a good target for this {{redirect with possibilities}}. – Paine Ellsworth CLIMAX! 08:59, 6 August 2013 (UTC)[reply]
  • Keep per Paine Ellsworth. Seems harmless. --BDD (talk) 16:16, 26 August 2013 (UTC)[reply]

Page has minimal visits. A misspelling of Joseph Gordon-Levitt, by the time someone enters "Joseph Gord," the article is already shown, and his redirect only confuses users. Grammarxxx (What'd I do this time?) 21:28, 5 August 2013 (UTC)[reply]

  • Keep. Like many people I copy and paste things into search fields at least as much as I type them in. If Joe's name is misspelled when I copy and paste, then this redirect usefully sends me to the right article. – Paine Ellsworth CLIMAX! 09:05, 6 August 2013 (UTC)[reply]

The result of the discussion was Withdrawn. Non-admin closure. – Paine Ellsworth CLIMAX! 13:50, 10 August 2013 (UTC)[reply]

Delete all three: no need for any of these terms to redirect to "artificial". There is no scope for a dab page at Factitious because there are only partial matches - a historic term for Nitrous oxide (Factitious airs) and a group of medical conditions (Factitious disorder and various specific such disorders). These redirects serve no useful purpose. A reader searching on "Factitious" will find these entries; a reader searching on the other two should be using a dictionary, not an encyclopedia. • I don't see what would be wrong with retargeting all of these to the article on Artificiality which I have stubbed in response to this mess. The article already discusses artificiality as a term of disrepute, and if expanded, should discuss this much more. bd2412 T 17:07, 5 August 2013 (UTC)
  • Retarget to Artificiality per bd2412; these are valid search terms. Neelix (talk) 20:51, 5 August 2013 (UTC)[reply]
  • Comment: OK, seems reasonable - keeps the dab page clean, and I note that "factitiousness" gets a mention in the lead of Artificiality, so that seems a good way forward. Is there a formal way to Withdraw an RfD nomination? PamD 22:25, 6 August 2013 (UTC)[reply]
  • Withdraw by nominator: re-target per BD2412. PamD 22:25, 6 August 2013 (UTC)[reply]
