Terrorism in Sri Lanka[edit]
- The following is an archived discussion concerning one or more redirects. Please do not modify it. Subsequent comments should be made on an appropriate discussion page (such as the redirect's talk page or in a deletion review). No further edits should be made to this section.
- The result of the discussion was delete, without prejudice against re-creation as a more general "terrorism in Sri Lanka" page. Dabomb87 (talk) 17:01, 25 September 2010 (UTC)
Implies that the Liberation Tigers of Tamil Eelam are the sole cause of terrorism in Sri Lanka. SnottyWong gossip 22:17, 14 September 2010 (UTC)
- Delete As per nom plus there are other articles related to terrorism in Sri Lanka: Sri Lanka and state terrorism, Human rights in Sri Lanka. Or perhaps Terrorism in Sri Lanka can become a disambiguation page with links to all related articles.--obi2canibetalk contr 17:10, 15 September 2010 (UTC)
- Disambiguate - it doesn't imply anything, redirects are just navigation aids; see WP:RNEUTRAL. However, it is not helpful to target on just this one organisation. A disambiguation page would be useful. Bridgeplayer (talk) 18:34, 15 September 2010 (UTC)
- Delete w/o prejudice - There are other groups that have committed terrorism in Sri Lanka, such as the Janatha Vimukthi Peramuna. There is the potential to be a good page here, but for right now we might as well delete it (without prejudice).Pectoretalk 16:34, 19 September 2010 (UTC)

Misleading. There are northern rivers in many countries Muhandes (talk) 20:40, 14 September 2010 (UTC)
ChristianU2Uber[edit]
- The following is an archived discussion concerning one or more redirects. Please do not modify it. Subsequent comments should be made on an appropriate discussion page (such as the redirect's talk page or in a deletion review). No further edits should be made to this section.
Not only is christianu2ber himself not a notable internet meme, nor is he or any of his videos mentioned in the target article, whoever created this redirect didn't even bother to get his username right. Delete please. GSMR (talk) 18:37, 14 September 2010 (UTC)
- Delete as confusing. Bridgeplayer (talk) 18:51, 14 September 2010 (UTC)
- Delete - redirects are not required to be as notable, and the spelling error is quite likely. However, subject is not mentioned in target article and never will be. A better target would have been List of Internet phenomena or List of YouTube personalities, if subject was notable enough to appear on either list. There is some coverage, so I'm not sure. However, until added to either list it only serves to confuse, so delete. --Muhandes (talk) 20:59, 14 September 2010 (UTC)

- Fossil fuel for reciprocating piston engines equipped with spark plugs → Gasoline (links to redirect • history • stats)
Funny, but why is it still around? Extremely unlikely. Ten Pound Hammer, his otters and a clue-bat • (Otters want attention) 01:57, 14 September 2010 (UTC)
- Delete there are other fossil fuels that you can use in reciprocating piston engines in combination with spark plugs; kerosene comes to mind. 76.66.200.95 (talk) 04:26, 14 September 2010 (UTC)
- Delete - this redirect was produced after a pointy page move, on 16 August 2009, that only existed for a matter of seconds. Redundant. Bridgeplayer (talk) 17:43, 14 September 2010 (UTC)
- Delete - very unlikely, result of error. --Muhandes (talk) 20:48, 14 September 2010 (UTC)
- Delete-Holdover from one of the lamest edit wars of all time (see Wikipedia:LAME#Names), far from necessary any more.--Fyre2387 (talk • contribs) 22:22, 14 September 2010 (UTC)
