These appear to be nonsense redirects. This editor's sole contributions have been the creation of such meaningless redirects. Bridgeplayer (talk) 19:26, 13 September 2010 (UTC)[reply]

  • Delete I guess the creator likes putting I's in front of their redirects to make them meaningless. An IPod reference maybe or something more silly? But still these redirects can't be used. --Andromedabluesphere440 (talk) 09:42, 14 September 2010 (UTC)[reply]

Search terms lead to a vague target, little purpose in them. — ξxplicit 08:16, 13 September 2010 (UTC)[reply]

  • Delete both - redirecting to a category can be valid for a topic but not a person. NN person not mentioned in any page. Author has created other spam redirects that should also be deleted. Bridgeplayer (talk) 17:09, 13 September 2010 (UTC)[reply]

List of fictional physicians[edit]

That someone is a physician, it doesn't imply they have a phD in Physics. It may be used incorrectly in "See also" sections. Magioladitis (talk) 08:09, 13 September 2010 (UTC)[reply]

  • Speedy keep - no valid deletion criterion has been specified. In addition this redirect was formerly an article that was merged into the target so deletion breaches our GFDL obligations. Bridgeplayer (talk) 17:01, 13 September 2010 (UTC)[reply]
What do you mean "not valid"? Not all physicians are doctors. Looking for a list of physicians and getting a list with doctors is confusing. -- Magioladitis (talk) 08:45, 14 September 2010 (UTC)[reply]
If you look at Physician, it says "also known as doctor of medicine, medical doctor, or simply doctor" and Medical doctor redirects there. The term 'doctor', in addition to referring to someone with a PhD, is also a courtesy title generally taken by physicians, and the scope of the target encompasses both types. Looking at the target, all the instances have the designation 'Dr'. If there are notable fictional physicians who do not use the title 'doctor', and you consider it important, then the way forward would be to consider resplitting the target. Meanwhile, someone searching on 'List of fictional physicians' is likely to find the target helpful. This is a long-established redirect and deletion may well break links within external sites, would reduce search options and breach GFDL for no benefit that I can see. OK. You convinced me. -- Magioladitis (talk) 09:48, 16 September 2010 (UTC)[reply]

Not useful redirects, not notable, and the only thing that links there in mainspace is from the target article itself. :| TelCoNaSpVe :| 01:54, 13 September 2010 (UTC)[reply]
