March 24[edit]

This is a list of redirects that have been proposed for deletion or other action on March 24, 2010

Rooz (Cornish music collection)[edit]

The following is an archived discussion concerning one or more redirects. Please do not modify it. Subsequent comments should be made on an appropriate discussion page (such as the redirect's talk page or in a deletion review). No further edits should be made to this section.
The result of the discussion was keep for now. This is clearly a slightly odd disambiguation title, but given how recently the article has been moved it appears prudent to leave it for now for the sake of incoming links and bookmarks. Can be renominated in a few months if desired, at which point it probably would indeed be an inappropriate redirect. ~ mazca talk 14:25, 2 April 2010 (UTC)[reply]

Every album is a music collection, there is no need for a disambiguation like this. —Justin (koavf)TCM☯ 20:29, 24 March 2010 (UTC)[reply]

  • Keep. Were it not for the fact the article had been at this title since creation in September 2007 until 35 seconds before the nomination I would be inclined to agree with deletion. However, as it is I see no reason to break the incomming links, bookmarks, etc. No objection to a renomination in a few months when we can see what level of traffic it still attracts. Too obscure. —Justin (koavf)TCM☯ 05:50, 24 March 2010 (UTC)[reply]

  • Delete - Wikipedia is not Amazon.com or any other CD/record store. B.Wind (talk) 00:45, 29 March 2010 (UTC)[reply]
  • Keep for now. The article was at this title from creation in 2006 until 18 seconds before the nomination. Given this history, I don't see any reason to break incomming links, bookmarks, etc just now. No objection to a renomination in a couple of months when traffic patterns have had a chance to stabalise, mirrors catch up, etc. Thryduulf (talk) 08:47, 30 March 2010 (UTC)[reply]

Spanish software[edit]

The result of the discussion was delete. While a redirect or dab page at this title could theoretically be useful, the current target is clearly not the most obvious meaning and there isn't an obvious target to point to instead. ~ mazca talk 14:23, 2 April 2010 (UTC)[reply]

Delete While I can see that "Spanish software" could mean "software for learning the Spanish language", much more likely meanings are "software produced in Spain" and "software which has a user interface in the Spanish language". this does not seem a very likely search term for people looking for computer-assisted language learning. JamesBWatson (talk) 12:07, 24 March 2010 (UTC)[reply]

  • Delete as the two meanings noted by James B Watson are more likely. I can't find that we have any suitable articles about either of those meanings to point this to, so delete is the only option. Thryduulf (talk) 15:11, 24 March 2010 (UTC)[reply]
  • Delete per above for now, maybe someday create a WP:DAB page here but first an article on software made in Spain or software with a Spanish interface would need to be created. Grondemar 16:10, 24 March 2010 (UTC)[reply]
  • Delete as too vague even for proper disambiguation. 147.70.242.54 (talk) 16:15, 24 March 2010 (UTC)[reply]
  • Delete The phrasing is very vague. My first assumption had nothing to do with this being a redirect to language translation software. JBWatson's points above are valid. ɠǀɳ̩ςεΝɡbomb 19:53, 24 March 2010 (UTC)[reply]
