The result of the discussion was Keep - nomination withdrawn with no contrary !votes. NAC. Bridgeplayer (talk) 16:43, 8 July 2010 (UTC)[reply]

As far as I can tell, a few gossip sites say this was a pseudonym used by Steffans. That doesn't seem like a good reason for Wikipedia to have it as a redirect. — Malik Shabazz Talk/Stalk 19:37, 7 July 2010 (UTC)[reply]

  • Comment - I'm not seeing 'Yizette Santiago' at the link that you have highlighted; is there another link, please? Bridgeplayer (talk) 22:25, 7 July 2010 (UTC)[reply]
Here's a link to a different book summary (note, not a gossip site) that discusses the pseudonym. Gavia immer (talk) 00:31, 8 July 2010 (UTC)[reply]
  • Keep. This is a pseudonym that the individual described at the target actually used. It's a perfectly reasonable search term. It's also not a privacy violation, since she wrote a book for public sale that discusses the pseudonym. Gavia immer (talk) 00:31, 8 July 2010 (UTC)[reply]
  • I wasn't aware of the usage of the name in Steffans' book. Can I withdraw this nomination? — Malik Shabazz Talk/Stalk 01:38, 8 July 2010 (UTC)[reply]
  • Yes. And for anyone who can't see the Google Books preview I linked above, on pp. 49–50 she says, "In the moments just before I made my debut, Yizette Santiago, my alter ego, was born. In order to get up on that stage every night and dance like I loved and meant it, I needed to put forth the personal of a fearless woman. So the scared little girl who felt unworthy, unattractive, and unwanted was gone. In her place was Yizette, a woman-child who was everything Karrine wanted to be—beautiful, sexy, confident, and independent." She mentions the name again twice on p. 52, saying that she used it when she first started dating Kool G. Rap: "Though our union would not be legal because I was a minor and not truthfully Yizette Santiago, from that day on, I was his wife in every way."  Glenfarclas  (talk) 02:58, 8 July 2010 (UTC)[reply]

Hybrid automatic repeat-request[edit]

The result of the discussion was keep. Wizardman Operation Big Bear 00:52, 13 July 2010 (UTC)[reply]

There is no need for a separate entry with hyphen (Hybrid automatic repeat-request) that just redirects to the main page without hyphen (Hybrid automatic repeat request). I suggest that the redirect with hyphen be deleted. Isheden (talk) 14:49, 7 July 2010 (UTC)[reply]

  • Keep. This is a perfectly common and plausible variation of the article title that is likely to be searched on. Why would we want to delete it? Gavia immer (talk) 00:24, 8 July 2010 (UTC)[reply]
  • Keep. 72.83.74.237 (talk) 04:16, 8 July 2010 (UTC)[reply]
