The result of the discussion was keep both. — ξxplicit 18:30, 3 September 2010 (UTC)[reply]

These redirects are not correct because Mytishchi is a satellite town of Moscow, not a part of Moscow, so I offer to delete them. Аурелиано Буэндиа (talk) 19:36, 25 August 2010 (UTC)[reply]

  • Keep both - the target for both these redirects is Atlant Moscow Oblast. If the name of the team is incorrect then that is a matter for the target's talk page, not here. Bridgeplayer (talk) 00:07, 26 August 2010 (UTC)[reply]
  • Sorry, I misunderstood your point. However, these are still fine. Redirects are simply navigation aids and both these look foreseeable search terms. Being strictly accurate is not a requirement for a redirect; many redirects are approximations for their subject. The acid test is: will the redirect take the reader to the page they want? In this case, the answer is yes. Bridgeplayer (talk) 14:32, 26 August 2010 (UTC)[reply]
  • Comment - I have fixed the nominations. Bridgeplayer (talk) 16:38, 26 August 2010 (UTC)[reply]
  • Reluctant keep - they're misnomers, but very plausible misnomers. Being misleading isn't in itself a sufficient reason to delete. However, quite a lot of hockey-related pages use these erroneous names - surely many more than would if these were redlinks instead - which is very annoying. The result of the discussion was disambiguate. ~Amatulić (talk) 22:29, 30 August 2010 (UTC)[reply]

There were other things in London 1950 than just the Stamp Exhibition. Derild4921 14:16, 25 August 2010 (UTC)[reply]

Agree. That should not be a redirect. Nolelover 15:44, 25 August 2010 (UTC)[reply]
  • Disambiguate - perhaps surprisingly there are relatively few events notable enough to have a page, perhaps six or so. Consequently, a disambiguation page is entirely practical. I'll produce a model page for consideration when I come back, tonight. Bridgeplayer (talk) 16:01, 25 August 2010 (UTC)[reply]
