Circular redirects[edit]

The result of the debate was closing now, all pages were blanked (except one which I just did), therefore they're no longer redirects and no longer an issue – Gurch 07:53, 15 May 2007 (UTC)[reply]

These cause problems for my bot, and can be interpreted as R1s (i.e. they don't redirect anywhere). Speedy contested. Will (is it can be time for messages now plz?) 03:12, 13 May 2007 (UTC)[reply]

  • Delete as circular redirects. ST47Talk 15:26, 13 May 2007 (UTC)[reply]
  • Comment - these need to be tagged. --- RockMFR 05:52, 14 May 2007 (UTC)[reply]
  • They're all user pages. Can't they just be blanked and a polite explanation left for the user? – Gurch 12:20, 14 May 2007 (UTC)[reply]

Dan DruffTodd Witteles[edit]

The result of the debate was Disambig. -- JLaTondre 23:55, 15 May 2007 (UTC)[reply]

confuses reader with Dan Druff, musician AndrewCIrving 04:06, 13 May 2007 (UTC)[reply]

Do not delete this redirect. The musician Dan Druff does not have a Wikipedia entry, and has little notability in the world of music. In contrast, Todd Witteles is well known throughout the poker community as "Dan Druff", and in fact is better known under than moniker than his real name. A google search on "Dan Druff" will confirm all of this. Poker2006 12:36, 13 May 2007 (UTC)[reply]

  • Keep, perhaps with a DAB note on the target? ST47Talk 15:27, 13 May 2007 (UTC)[reply]
  • The DAB note sounds like a fair idea. However the musician Dan Druff DOES have a Wikipedia entry, you just can't find it for some reason by typing in Dan Druff. The article name is currently "Dan Druff (musician)" so that is what you have to type into the search box in order to find the article. Secondly, Dan Druff the musician is well known throughout the rock music industry, as Dan Druff the poker player is known in his respective profession. A Google search on Dan Druff will return more articles on the poker player, but Google images search will return more photos of Dan Druff the musician. ˜˜˜˜— Preceding unsigned comment added by AndrewCIrving (talkcontribs) 17:31, 2007 May 13
  • Since both people have articles, and both articles mention the name, I've gone ahead and made it a disambiguation page. Feel free to tweak things. Gavia immer (talk) 15:22, 14 May 2007 (UTC)[reply]
  • I endorse the DABification done by Gavia immer (and I just made sure that both articles had Bio/Living tags on their talk pages). It should be possible to close this now. Xtifr tälk 17:23, 14 May 2007 (UTC)[reply]

Tom Stephens2006 Ipswich murder investigation[edit]

The result of the debate was delete. WjBscribe 17:30, 20 May 2007 (UTC)[reply]

Article makes no mention of a "Tom Stephens", or even "Thomas Stephens". The only mention of the word "Stephens" at all is a line that says "Stephens's house is searched by police.", but it is unknown who this "Stephens" might be as it's the only occurrence of this name in the article. —Zachary talk 09:27, 13 May 2007 (UTC)[reply]
