Steve Reich (Army) → Coalition casualties in Afghanistan[edit]
This redirect makes no sense because you expect to get information about the guy and hes not mentioned on the target page. He is also linked on the 160th SOAR page under "Famous Night Stalkers". At least here you would expect to get information on the guy which is not provided on the Coalition casualties page. Panth 00:02, 4 January 2007 (UTC)
- Delete per nom. If he is not mentioned in the target article then this would be better as a redlink. BigNate37(T) 00:58, 5 January 2007 (UTC)
- The original Steve Reich (Army) article was deleted (and replaced by a redirect) following the discussion at Wikipedia:Articles for deletion/Steve Reich (Army). Perhaps some of the information from the old article could be merged into Coalition casualties in Afghanistan, although the majority opinion at the AfD was that individual combat deaths are not normally notable. --Eastmain 01:07, 5 January 2007 (UTC)
Uk airport parking → UK airport parking[edit]
Redirect to an essay that was deleted at AfD. NeoChaosX (talk, walk) 19:00, 3 January 2007 (UTC)

This page originally contained the article now at The Hitchers (band from Limerick). Another article was created, "The Hitchers (band from Teeside)", and "The Hitchers" changed to a disambig between the two. The Teeside band article was successfully prodded, and the Limerick band article survived an AfD. The information on the Teeside band has been merged with the Limerick band article. I think that it would be more sensible to rename the only current article ("band from Limerick") back to "The Hitchers", but we need to retain the edit history, and we can't do a move while the redirect exists. As I see it, the ideal state of things will be to have the article at The Hitchers with the edit history that's now at "band from Limerick", with "band from Limerick" and perhaps "band from Teeside" as redirects - and deleting the current redirect then moving the "band from Limerick" page seems to be the simplest way of doing this. A redirect already exists from Kokin Wakashu (without diacritics), and it appears before Kokin-wakashu in a search for "kokin wakashu" or "kokinshu". Kokin-wakashu is an extremely unlikely romanization (I've never encountered it in any work in English on classical Japanese literature). A look at Special:Whatlinkshere/Kokin Wakashū shows that most notable romanizations are covered, including archaic and idiosyncratic ones such as Kokin Wakasyu. — Kaustuv Chaudhuri 10:43, 3 January 2007 (UTC)

Melanie Kirk → Rainbow Shops[edit]
This redirect (and the ones that follow) is a completely implausible search term to get you to that result. The people are "regional managers" or work in human resources of this clothing store. Highly unnotable people and it is verrrrry unlikely anyone would ever search for them. Metros232 16:43, 3 January 2007 (UTC)
