CFC-14Carbon tetrachloride[edit]

The result of the debate was Re-targeted to Tetrafluoromethane. In addition to multiple search results, the Tetrafluoromethane article states that CFC 14 is an alternate name. -- JLaTondre 00:07, 12 December 2007 (UTC)[reply]

Procedural nomination; another editor blanked the page claiming that these chemicals are not the same - at least if I'm reading the talk page correctly Carlossuarez46 (talk) 19:15, 10 December 2007 (UTC)[reply]

  • Redirect to Tetrafluoromethane, which lists CFC 14 as an alternate name. A Google search backs this up. If it's inaccurate, it should be addressed in the article. Toohool (talk) 21:00, 10 December 2007 (UTC)[reply]
  • Redirect to Tetrafluoromethane per Toohool. This link confirms the identity (carbon tetrafluoride is the same as tetrafluoromethane). Suggest early closure because this is fairly obvious. Shalom (HelloPeace) 16:18, 11 December 2007 (UTC)[reply]
