Retrieving a deleted page revision[edit]

Would there be any way, by myself or by request, to retrieve the last revision of a recently deleted page? How do I print/save a wikipedia article without the brackets/numbers that are interspersed throughout the article?[edit]

I am trying to make a long post on reddit that includes me copy/pasting about 40 paragraphs of text from wikpiedia but all the text I grab includes numbers like this[1] and this[2]. Is there a fast way to remove the numbers with brackets around them? To answer your second question, they are called inline citations. To answer your first, if you make an account on Wikipedia and log in, you should be able to set preferences to hide inline citations. misconception in accessing date[edit]

The access date parameter is supposed to have the last date you visited the website and knew the link was valid. It should probably have today's date. I would fix it for you on Public limited company, except I don't think the paragraph you added is where you want it to be in the article and I don't know where you want it. Also, you should take the brackets off that paragraph. This presumably relates to your edits to Public limited company? The error essage says "Check date values in: |access-date= (help)", and the word "help" is in blue to indicate that it is a hyperlink, in this case to Help:CS1 errors#bad date. One example of unacceptable content is an access date in the future. I notice also that you removed the short description and replaced it with malformatted content before the usual lede sentence, so I have reverted your edits. --David Biddulph (talk) 05:27, 26 March 2021 (UTC)[reply]

State route marker images[edit]

I'm working on creating an article for the US 68 bridge over Lake Barkley and want to include the crossings navbox. I was able to figure out from its sister bridge over Kentucky Lake the names for svgs for US route symbols and the generic symbol Kentucky uses, but I found out from List of crossings of the Cumberland River that the upstream crossing carries a Tennessee state route, and I am not sure how to get that symbol? Report Wiki Abuse[edit]

Hello 73.15.60.225, I assume this is about Deren Ney. First of all, please don't call others a "trump troll". Calling others by their (assumed) political party is unacceptable, especially because you don't know who the other one actually is, and wether they even live in the united states. As for the article, I have reverted the problematic edit, and warned the user. I don't think a block is in order yust yet. However, if this continiues, a block may be requested. Reputation level of a user[edit]

@Dr Salvus: Try clicking 'View history' for any article or talk page, and and click (contribs) for any editor. You will find that some editors have a tendency to create well-sourced, well-referenced articles, or make similar additions to existing articles. These are the edits with green numbers in the thousands of bytes. Some editors have a tendency for taking existing articles in hand and bringing them to featured article or good article status. Some just add wikilinks; some find and add missing references; some go around correcting spelling mistakes or removing duplicate words such as 'the the'. Others spend their time removing inappropriate material such as advertising spam, self-promotion, or unreferenced nonsense. These are the edits with red numbers. Yet others patrol new pages or the various help desks, or otherwise review new articles. Another type of Wikipedian spends most of their time completely behind the scenes, concerning themselves with what are essentially programming or coding tasks, making sure that the multiple bits of software which format and present an article on screen continue to work. There are some lesser beings with an axe to grind, who deliberately make tendentious edits, often against WP:NPOV. They, like sockpuppets, often end up being ~~blocked~~. Others resolve disputes or consider articles for deletion. As you will see, Wikipedians do a number of very different things, and it would be invidious to compare their various reputations. Wikipedia is not for posting profiles, whether you have an account or not. Wikipedia has articles, and not a single profile. Even new accounts cannot directly create articles. I am afraid that if you don't remember the password and don't have an email set, the acocunt cannot be recovered. You can only register again using a different username, declaring the fact that you lost the password to the (named) previos account on the new acocunt's userpage, to prevent unnesesary drama when someone notices that a new editor is "too" experienced. Vladimir the Great[edit]

Wikipedia objected to my corrections, as if some sort of error and not constructive. To the contrary the original page is offensively incorrect and required correction which was done with 100% accuracy. Only problem was I could not edit the Title page.

For Historical accuracy, Vladimir was NOT the name of the Prince who was of Ukrainian dissent and whose name is accurately recorded as Volodomyr. Vladimir is a fake name invented by the Russians to imply he was their patron Saint and brought Christianity to Russia. That is a lie, and fake rewritten history. Russia did not exist in 998. Nor did Moscow where Putin built a fake statue to a Vladimir recently, more of a figment of his imagination. Christianity was brought to KievRus, that became known as Ukraine over the centuries. It is unfortunate that the letter Rus implies Russia, which was born of different Slavic and Mongolian tribes with no connection to Ukrainian Slavs. This is the cause of much conflict to this very day between an authoritarian Russian Facist ruler ie a Dictator with dillussions of grandeur with confused ideologies ? of wanting to rebuild a Soviet Union a marxist contradiction of a communist state versus his Fascist Dictator present day status.

It is greatly offensive to Ukraine that Volodomyr's legacy is denegrated to that of some Russian whim to have his memory rewritten as a Vladimir to suit the Russian narrative. Unbelievable nonsense. Uketruth Wikipedia summarizes what independent reliable sources state. If those sources are not being summarized accurately, please point out any errors on the article tal page.
