Mary Paley Marshall - correct the grammar.[edit]

Please fix the grammar in the Mary Paley Marshall page in the section where this sentence appears: "Shortly after in 1879 Alfred and her both wrote The Economics of Industry." The wording should be "Shortly after in 1879 Alfred and SHE both wrote The Economics of Industry." Thank you. Jean Montgomery

The problems MrsSnoozyTurtle identified are mentioned at the top, with link to pages explaining them; once you have made the necessary declarations as mentioned by Tenryuu, you may address these issues and submit the draft for review. Mobile logs?[edit]

Why can't I access logs from a phone? On my PC, I can go to Special:Log to search public logs (Deletion Logs, etc). But on my Samsung S9+ I just get the error message "No apps can perform this action". This is the same whether I use Chrome browser, or even the Wikipedia app itself - surely that should be able to open that page if anything can! But it gives the same error. Am I doing something wrong, or is this a problem that I should report somewhere, or is this working as designed for some reason?--Gronk Oz (talk) 05:32, 26 April 2021 (UTC)[reply]

Gronk Oz I don't know if this is an error or not, but I do know that the app and mobile version do not have the full functionality of the desktop version(at least in ease of use). 331dot (talk) 09:24, 26 April 2021 (UTC)[reply]

Users reverting valid changes to page[edit]

Hello, I am making valid edits to this page: https://es.wikipedia.org/wiki/Andr%C3%A9s_Oppenheimer There are two users reverting my edits EVERY SINGLE TIME - for no reason. They have now reported/blocked me FOR NO REASON! These users are: Edslov Pepi003 How can I report them? Please review my edits, they are absolutely valid, no reason to block me. Koreatown, Long Island[edit]

Koreatown, Long Island should be Koreatown, Queens, NY. Long Island is not a borough of New York.

I am writing to you on behalf of my leadman Schobert Norbert (at Norbi Update® Low Carb Inc. Hungary) We are eager to how to create new english content for wikipedia.org. We are asking your contribution because we planned to update the hungarian Wikipedia article about Schobert Norbert (https://hu.wikipedia.org/wiki/Schobert_Norbert) who is a well known hungarian businessman and celebrity, but the admins refused to cooperate. We were ready to provide proof that Norbi himself was our source, but this was not considered authentic enough by the site and our request was denied. Is it possible to create new, non - localized but translated (english) and extended content for Norbert on wikipedia.org? If it's possible could you please provide me the details on how to create english content for Norbert? Your help would be greatly appreciated. @Norbi1971: It appears that you are a Paid Editor. Under English Wikipedia Policy, paid editing constitutes a conflict of interest and is highly discouraged. Norbi1971, like many people, you are mistaking Wikipedia for a promotion outlet. If at some time English Wikipedia has an article about Norbert, the article will not belong to Norbert, will not be controlled by Norbert, will be able to be edited by nearly anybody in the world except Norbert and his associates, and should be based nearly 100% on what people unconnected with Norbert have published about him. I'm not surprised the Hungarian admins rejected your submission, because Wikipedia is not interested in what the subject of an article says or wants to say about themselves, or what their associates say about them. Wikipedia is only interested in what people who have no connection with the subject, and who have not been prompted or fed information on behalf of the subject, have chosen to publish about the subject in reliable sources. --ColinFine (talk) 12:55, 26 April 2021 (UTC)[reply]

Wikipedia is not a place for companies, be it "startups" or otherwise, to tell the world about themselves or enhance their search results. "Startups" rarely meet the special Wikipedia definition of a notable organization. Deletion request[edit]

I am in the process of nominating the article on Ana Vives Casas for deletion. I think I must be doing something wrong, for it has not come up at Wikipedia: Articles for deletion. Rollo August If like me you don't do twinkle you can follow Wikipedia:Articles for deletion#How to nominate a single page for deletion. There are three templates and I redid the second and added the third. I advise previewing each template and checking the instructions if the page doesn't look right.
