Original – Poster advertising Howard Thurston's recreation of the Indian Rope Trick, a claimed magic trick done in India, which, however, research has recently shown to be a newspaper hoax, with no evidence of having ever been performed before stage magicians took it up on the basis of the hoax.

A lovely example of early 20th-century theatrical posters; only image we have for the subject.
