Nominator's rationale: I don't see the need for having this classification restricted to the Category:Paralympic competitors tree as the same classification is used in other para swimming events, such as championships and Commonwealth Games, and for records. Currently, a couple of non-Paralympic para swimmers, Joshua Willmer is one, are included but would to be removed or moved to a separate tree. Kaffet i halsen (talk) 15:16, 22 May 2023 (UTC)[reply]
  • Support yes, I believe this would be good as there are a handful of para swimmers who haven't participated at the Paralympic Games but have participated in international para swimming competitions such as the World Para Swimming Championships and the World Para Swimming European Championships. The Parapans is also another one yet sometimes the sports that are in the Parapan American Games are qualifiers for the Paralympics e.g. table tennis where the winner is often automatically qualified to compete (unfortunately there isn't a category for classified para table tennis players however I have had thoughts about creating categories for a while). Anyway, like I said, I support the changes for the renaming of the classified para swimmers. SarahTHunter (talk) 14:36, 24 May 2023 (UTC)[reply]

Nominator's rationale: Single-entry category for just one person. While we do have a small selection of "specific ballroom house" categories for houses with a significant number of notable members, we don't have a comprehensive scheme of automatically categorizing all ballroom competitors for their house as a matter of course -- so no prejudice against recreation in the future if and when there are four or five notable St. Laurents with articles to file in it, but it's not needed for just one person.
