Topos show a facility which is no longer there. Searching was made rather difficult by one M. F. Tarpey who spent a lot of time either in court or testifying to congress. But eventually I found this labor newsletter which identifies the facility as the Italian Swiss Colony Winery. And that is all there was to this railside location. The CDP-designated subdivision of Tarpey Village lies just north of here, and presumably got its name through this proximity, but I see no sign that Tarpey itself was ever a settlement.
