A term apparenly made up by the author. Attempts to tie this concept to a concept by Robert Pirsig are specious; Pirsig makes no mention of "static latching". No searches for this term return anything having to do with economics. WikiDan61ChatMe!ReadMe!! 22:04, 27 June 2011 (UTC)[reply]
- Delete: as non-notable. If the concept is as described in the book, the content may be merged into the article about the book. XXX antiuser eh? 22:05, 27 June 2011 (UTC)[reply]
- Correction: Lila: An Inquiry into Morals apparently does use the term "static latching" to refer to the concept of causing a dynamic concept to catch on and "stick". It is not quite the economic theory defined in this article, but it may qualify the term to be used as a redirect to the article about the book, with a brief mention there.
