  • Keep - meets WP:NFOOTY due to England caps; also [1] is a source. Not sure why you want to delete footballing Ruperts... Spiderone 22:15, 3 November 2020 (UTC)[reply]
  • Speedy keep per SKCRIT 2 or 3 - I have serious concerns about the conduct of the nominator and the nomination is clearly erroneous that I don't believe the nominator has even read the article, let alone undertaken WP:BEFORE. There are references in the article and they clearly show that this player is notable per WP:NFOOTBALL (England international) - the article simply needs improving, not deleting. • Delete GiantSnowman (talk · contribs) do you always harass and stalk people on Wikipedia? Leave me alone. Anyway, the footballer nominated to be deleted has hardly any coverage and is not notable.--LeftiePete (talk) 01:51, 4 November 2020 (UTC)[reply]
Struck !vote as that counts as double voting. --TheSandDoctor Talk 06:50, 4 November 2020 (UTC)[reply]
  • Keep Not sure how this came to be nominated, clearly passes WP:NFOOTY due to national team appearances. Eagleash (talk) 02:56, 4 November 2020 (UTC)[reply]
  • Keep satisfies WP:NFOOTY. --TheSandDoctor Talk 06:54, 4 November 2020 (UTC)[reply]
  • Keep He played international football for his country. Consequently, he was notable, is notable and will always remain notable. Daemonickangaroo2018 (talk) 13:14, 4 November 2020 (UTC)[reply]
  • Keep as above. It could do with an improvement tho tbh, maybe an expansion for its upcoming 10-year anniversary could be in order? I've added another ref with plenty of info on him. Crowsus (talk) 13:17, 4 November 2020 (UTC)[reply]
  • Keep After a WP:BEFORE search, the subject meets the spirit of WP:GNG and Wikipedia, therefore should have an article. --Tsistunagiska (talk) 19:49, 4 November 2020 (UTC)[reply]
  • Keep and easily - needs to be expanded, but news of his death was reported as far away as Canada. SportingFlyer T·C 11:15, 5 November 2020 (UTC)[reply]
  • Keep England international, obviously passes WP:NFOOTY guidance on notability. Muchclag (talk) 23:17, 6 November 2020 (UTC)[reply]
