Totally redundant and self-advertising article. This person is very far from being notable even in Georgia and he having the self-advertising article in English Wiki is pure nonsense. His pages were deleted in many other Wikipedias including Georgian and it makes no sense keeping this article in English where his notability is just a mess of some redundant and low-value sources packed up together. I suggest we delete this article. In addition it seems they created similar article for his wife Nino Varsimashvili who has zero notability as well so I suggest we delete that article too. I am also nominating the following related pages as suggested above by the original nominator:Peter Rehse (talk) 19:57, 24 July 2015 (UTC)[reply]

Nino Varsimashvili (edit | talk | history | protect | delete | links | watch | logs | views)
  • Delete The article has always been full of hyperbole and exageration - with regard to the martial arts despite the claims of World champion he does not meet WP:KICK nor are there reliable sources. I am not convinced that either subject meets any other notability criteria. For Rati view has not changed over the last two AfDs.Peter Rehse (talk) 20:10, 24 July 2015 (UTC)[reply]
    • @PRehse: Note that there are 2 sockpuppets already. Jaqeli 13:44, 27 July 2015 (UTC)[reply]
  • Delete I find it hard to believe that someone claiming only a 1st-dan black belt (the lowest rank of black belt) is "world champion" of anything, other than maybe self-aggrandizement. PsyMar (talk) 23:05, 24 July 2015 (UTC)[reply]
Hiding comments from confirmed sockpuppets, and responses to those comments that are primarily about the sockpuppetry rather than the AfD

  • Keep it This person is very far from being notable even in Georgia -- just a mess of some redundant and low-value sources packed up together, on that: He is very well known in Georgia and that is obvious because of the sources which are from top Georgian media sources such as Georgian Times, Georgian Journal, Imedi TV , Rustavi 2 and so on. • Keep - Article seems fine to me. Besides his dozen of international prizes in martial arts, he has directed six short films that won awards in international festivals.Katerina dunaway (talk) 12:43, 27 July 2015 (UTC)[reply]

In addition article with name of რატი წითელაძე has never been created in Georgian Wikipedia thus it has never been deleted, though you can find the article in Portuguese: https://pt.wikipedia.org/wiki/Rati_Tsiteladze. According to the last AFD it has been decided to keep the article and it has been edited and cleaned up by several professional editors.

With regards to keeping this article in English, saying that redundant and low-value sources are packed up together is inaccurate. Example will be the latest article about Rati in The Observer: “Georgian Sport Star Targets Hollywood (Exclusive)” - http://www.observer.com.ge/en/2015/05/20/news-article-1/ 31.146.206.198 (talk) 15:56, 27 July 2015 (UTC)[reply]

I was waiting for your reply Jaqeli on my question but I see what you are trying to do. Wikipedia is a wiki, meaning that anyone can edit any unprotected page and improve articles immediately for all readers. I think your aggressive tone and false accusations are the evidence of nothing more than a personal issue. Katerina dunaway (talk) 18:18, 27 July 2015 (UTC)[reply]
  • Delete Without the sockpuppet comments, there seems to be a clear consensus on Rati but little has been said about Nino. I found no significant coverage or awards that would show she meets WP:GNG or WP:NACTOR. Most of the sources are about the quote “Sometimes, little things make a big difference" which is hardly an original thought. I've heard that sentiment for over 60 years, Arthur Conan Doyle said "little things are ... the most important", and several books were written with the sentiment in the topic years before she supposedly made it famous (Malcolm Gladwell's "How Little Things Make a Big Difference" and the Terkels' book "It's the Little Things in Life that Make a Big Difference" are two examples). I may have belabored this point, but the quote and sentiment are hardly original with Nino and being nominated for an award at a very minor film festival is not enough to show notability as an actress.
