This disambiguation is so small that it can easily be accomplished by a hatnote instead, though I doubt it needs even that. The only other actual article besides the main one is Petrifaction in mythology and fiction._{ZXCVBNM (TALK)} 13:36, 22 September 2017 (UTC)[reply]

- @SmokeyJoe:With petrified being a redirect to petrifaction, it doesn't really "link" to the article petrifaction so much as being linked from it. That means the link to petrifaction is unnecessary and most likely merits removal, leaving only one more article, which is related and likely better off in the "See also" section rather than as a hatnote. "Fear" is only a dicdef, and is not admissable per WP:NOTDICTIONARY. Ultimately it should not need any sort of hatnote on the article._{ZXCVBNM (TALK)} 08:39, 23 September 2017 (UTC)[reply]

    - @SmokeyJoe: Is there a reason the song merits a disambiguation or hatnote? It doesn't have its own article. While it might be fine to include if the disambig were otherwise necessary, I don't think its status should hinge on dubious items. Merge with Petrifaction (disambiguation) per SmokeyJoe. Merge to Petrifaction (disambiguation) The latter has already been to WP:AfD with consensus to Keep. (BTW: Both pages only average two hits a day). I would remove the link to "extreme fear" as this isn't a synonym for petrification, and "petrified" is only an adjective, more deserving of a dictionary or thesaurus entry.
