Per Project:Naming conventions (adjectives) the title should be monandry, but there are lots of words for the number of stamens in a plant ("diandry", "tetrandry", and so forth) and this is better covered in androecium. Similarly monandry and polyandry in nature is a sub-topic of mating systems. Uncle G (talk) 08:11, 22 March 2022 (UTC)[reply]

Merge the plant material to androecium per Uncle G, and the insect material to mating system. I don't see any need for separate articles for monandry, diandry, triandry, tetrandry ..., that's just WP:DICDEF. Chiswick Chap (talk) 13:13, 29 March 2022 (UTC)[reply]

Delete/Merge This article violates what Wikipedia is not, but it would be more appropriate if its content was merged into relevant articles about orchids and mating as long as its content is not already covered in those articles.
