Unremarkable unsupported rivalry. Article fails to support premise that there was a rivalry between the two drivers. Article lacks references that support premise. reddogsix (talk) 04:53, 7 November 2013 (UTC)[reply]

Delete NASCAR drivers are competitors so every driver rivals everyone else. The article compares their careers which is just a duplicate of their articles. There's nothing special to their rivalry. The sources aren't even specific to their rivalry. Royal broil 04:11, 8 November 2013 (UTC)[reply]
Delete - Although I admit that they were rivals, my beliefs do not determine notability on Wikipedia. Every NASCAR driver has 42 other rivals every race. JG and Dale Sr. are also business partners, but that also would not add to the notability. Gordon-Earnhardt has just as much notability as a Jeff vs. Jeff "rivalry".
