Since there are a double handful of places having "Coso" as part of their names, including another spot with the exact same name, it's just not possible to construct a search which picks this spot out of all the competition. But the topos tell the story clearly enough: it was just another siding on the SP line, with no settlement around it. Mangoe (talk) 16:22, 28 November 2020 (UTC)

- Delete Very short article. –Cupper52Discuss! 17:13, 5 December 2020 (UTC)
- Redirect to Coso Junction, California. If this were a WP:GEOLAND pass it might still be kept even with a short article, but with another place with the exact same name (that I see earthquake coverage for) there's no reason to keep it per nom. FOARP (talk) 22:47, 5 December 2020 (UTC)
- Redirect to Coso Junction, California. Yep, this is rather confusing, there at least three Cosos in Inyo County: Coso, California, Coso (former settlement), California and Coso Junction, California. Coso, California and Coso Junction, California are fairly close together. Coso (former settlement), California is elsewhere, see Ghost Towns of Death Valley. Coso did not have a post office, though Coso Junction did. Searching for 'Coso "Southern Pacific" ' found various railroad hits. It appears Coso was on the Jawbone branch, so searching for Jawbone might find more hits. Cxbrx (talk) 03:41, 8 December 2020 (UTC)
- Redirect to Coso Junction, California per above. // Timothy :: talk 03:40, 12 December 2020 (UTC)
