The result was 'Merge and redirect' to Bennington College. This discussion has not found sufficient evidence of notability. Being represented in a fictional universe isn't in and of itself a contribution toward notability. Simply linking to WP:BEFORE, WP:ATD, etc does not make a subject notable; unless evidence of notability is provided that is specific to the page under discussion, such a !vote carries no weight. - I see one newspaper briefly mentions it on its list of top ten fictional universities at https://www.independent.co.uk/voices/the-top-10-fictional-universities-trivia-a8335066.html and everywhere else I search for "camden college" and "fictional" just brief mentions of it. So many results to sort through. If you don't include the word "fictional" it shows real places that are named that. Dream Focus 20:54, 11 August 2020 (UTC)
- Keep No following WP:BEFORE, no consideration of WP:NEXIST; no evidence of any understanding of the topic and its coverage in literary analysis. Classic WP:IGNORINGATD. Andrew🐉(talk) 20:55, 11 August 2020 (UTC)
- Merge and redirect to a new "In literature" section in Bennington College. A fun curiosity about Bennington, but don't think it has enough literary significance for its own article. AleatoryPonderings (talk) 22:29, 11 August 2020 (UTC)
- Comment Sadly it isn't one of the top thirty listed in "the shiny new 2020 fictional universities ranking"! PamD 23:31, 11 August 2020 (UTC)
- Keep Seems notable by virtue of featuring in three different authors' fictional universes. The two books cited, the Independent article linked above, and this: https://www.salon.com/2011/07/22/fictional_colleges/ together probably satisfy even WP notability. -- DoubleGrazing (talk) 17:04, 12 August 2020 (UTC)
- Merge to Bennington College in liturature section. This is really about that school.John Pack Lambert (talk) 17:44, 13 August 2020 (UTC)
- Delete or redirect. Few mentions in passing are not sufficient to meet GNG/WP:NFICTION. Not seeing any detailed analysis of this entity in literary studies etc. --Piotr Konieczny aka Prokonsul Piotrus| reply here 13:31, 14 August 2020 (UTC)
- Delete and/or redirect after reviewing the sources, which are mostly WP:TRIVIALMENTIONS. There's no reliable third party sources that are discussing the real-world impact of this, and we can't write an article based on plot details when Wikipedia is WP:NOT#PLOT. Fails the WP:GNG.
