After deleting Wikipedia:Articles for deletion/Dartmouth–Yale football rivalry, I found that this article is pretty much of the same type. No serious sources, no proper content apart from list of games played. Tone 18:01, 8 October 2018 (UTC)[reply]

  • Keep The AP write-up from this year's meeting seems to imply that this is a recognized rivalry by the national sporting press. That being said, the article certainly needs more sourcing. GPL93 (talk) 19:35, 16 October 2018 (UTC)[reply]
  • Delete - Unsourced and fails GNG. Supporting content is not found in locations which typically do so when it does exist, such as site:newspapers.com and site:nytimes.com UW Dawgs (talk) 22:49, 16 October 2018 (UTC)[reply]
  • Keep. This one has many of the classic attributes of a true rivalry: a traveling trophy (the "Governor's Cup"); geographic proximity (28 miles between campuses); intra-state competition; length of play (dates back to 1909); frequency of play (103 meetings). In addition, there is significant coverage of the series as a rivalry. See this from 2017 and this and this from 2018. See also this from the URI web site. Article needs to be improved with more sourcing and narrative, but that is not a reason to delete. Cbl62 (talk) 14:03, 19 October 2018 (UTC)[reply]
  • Keep it needs more sources and probably comes close to failing WP:NOTSTATS as it stands, but it's definitely a rivalry which passes WP:GNG. SportingFlyer talk 07:15, 20 October 2018 (UTC)[reply]
