Boulan Park Middle School (Michigan)[edit]

Non-notable middle school in Detroit area. It is one of four middle schools in the Troy School District and is the only one with a Wikipedia page. It has been used mainly as a puff-page; when I first came across it, it had a detailed list of the curriculum for each year with descriptions of every course offered in the school. The only alumni it links to are non-notable football players. It has very little substantial information that would give it reason to have a Wikipedia page. Merge/redirect to Troy School District (Michigan)#Middle schools. No need for an AfD; this could have been actioned through normal editorial processes. TerriersFan (talk) 16:47, 7 February 2009 (UTC)[reply]
- There's already a Boulan Park Middle School redirect that goes here. Should we really redirect to a redirect? No; it would make more sense to change that one to re-direct to the Troy School District page and delete this one. Beggarsbanquet (talk) 19:19, 7 February 2009 (UTC)[reply]

Strong Keep The nomination clearly fails WP:BEFORE in that no reference is made to the numerous sources which exist for this topic and obvious alternatives to deletion have not been considered. The school is evidently notable and the article should be kept. Issues such as puff piece are quite irrelevant as AFD is not cleanup. Colonel Warden (talk) 23:30, 8 February 2009 (UTC)[reply]
