Declined PROD. While language is no doubt an issue, I cannot find any evidence he is a notable artist. There are a handful of blog posts, and some wikipedia mirrors, but no coverage of his works or indications of major shows that would be required to establish notability. DeleteThe nominator is correct: a search did not produce adequate RS to establish notability. I saw at most one good source, in a travel book. ThatMontrealIP (talk) 16:49, 2 November 2020 (UTC)[reply]
Comment: A 2015 "Andrey Lekarski presents his art in Sofia" mentions works in public collections at Versailles and the "Museum of contemporary Art in Paris", presumably either Musée d'Art Moderne de Paris or Musée National d'Art Moderne, though my searches haven't found confirmation on their sites. I found the same AllyD and was optimistic I could take it out of the 2009 backlog where I found it, but was unable to confirm unfortunately. I wish the post had been clearer as to whether it was a group show at Versailles or what the context might have been. I checked French wikipedia's article, but it doesn't have any sourcing or further detail beyond indicating that it's Musée d'Art Moderne de Paris. StarM 17:48, 2 November 2020 (UTC)[reply]

Delete Although I found an interview with the Guardian (UK) in 1993 on Gale: [1] I could not find other sources in JSTOR, NYT, Google, or French (Canadian) news databases. I meant that it would be a loss to the encyclopedia to lose that image if the article were deleted. The image would still exist at Wikimedia Commons but it would lose its association with the related material found in the article. Bus stop (talk) 00:37, 13 November 2020 (UTC)[reply]
