Keep: Per WP:NSPORTS, "Athletes from any sport are presumed notable if they have competed at the modern Olympic Games..." the idea that a medal winner in the summer olympic games might not be notable is absurd. The fact that he participated in and won a silver medal at the London 1948 Olympics is also verified by his page on the olympics website.
