Imagine Dragons does not have an album titled "Thunder". -- Tavix (talk) 20:18, 12 June 2017 (UTC)[reply]

  • Delete. I created this after reading several articles (which no longer exist, as those publications—one of which I'm quite sure was Billboard—later rectified their own mistake) that claimed "Thunder" was the name of Imagine Dragons' upcoming album, instead of, as was later revealed, just their next single. Delete, not mentioned at target article. Lordtobi () 16:05, 12 June 2017 (UTC)[reply]

  • Keep There is enough coverage from reliable video game sources to justify having information about it on the target. Thus, if information about it can be added to the target, the redirect should remain. --The1337gamer (talk) 16:19, 12 June 2017 (UTC)[reply]
  • Keep. Once again, plenty of (reliable) sources: [1][2][3]. I don't see how the deletion of this redirect could in any way help the encyclopedia. I am no longer watching this page—ping if you'd like a response czar 16:57, 12 June 2017 (UTC)[reply]
  • Keep.Plenty of reliable sources to justify the redirect --Timur9008 (talk) 21:58, 12 June 2017 (UTC)[reply]
  • Keep - If there needs to be more information put into the company's article about what they're doing in Europe, then we can add that. The redirect seems proper enough. CoffeeWithMarkets (talk) 08:05, 19 June 2017 (UTC)[reply]

The result of the discussion was keep. Will add hatnotes to all of the listed articles on the disambiguation page. (non-admin closure) Anarchyte (work | talk) 08:29, 20 June 2017 (UTC)[reply]

Delete, game is currently on ice, and there is no subsistantial information on the target article. Ultimately having an article created would be the best choice, but if not possible the redirect should be deleted. Lordtobi () 16:02, 12 June 2017 (UTC)[reply]

  • Keep It's mentioned at the target. Topic has over 300,000 hits from reliable video game sources, which means there is enough coverage from reliable sources to expand at current target article. The redirect doesn't need to be deleted for an article to be created. If an article was created it would likely be merged back to the current target. --The1337gamer (talk) 16:06, 12 June 2017 (UTC)[reply]
  • Keep. Users search for the game, find the article, which has little information. So it would be better to remove the redirect altogether? The solution is expansion at the target, not deleting the redirect. czar 16:53, 12 June 2017 (UTC)[reply]

Delete as unlikely search term, else could refer to many things. Lordtobi () 16:00, 12 June 2017 (UTC)[reply]

  • Keep. Google disagrees. "id" is a strange, short name, and "games" is a useful disambiguator for users searching for "Id Software" who do not know its proper name (the one that we use). There are no other "id games" to confuse with the developer. czar 16:51, 12 June 2017 (UTC)[reply]
  • Keep - these guys were, at one point, the biggest show in town in certain fields of 3D game development. The title may be interpreted as "games made by Id". We have a category for that (Category:Id_Software_games), but not a list. - Richard Cavell (talk) 00:22, 13 June 2017 (UTC)[reply]
  • I dispute that it's unlikely, and "many things" is way too vague a rationale. Keep since if people are looking for a list of Id's projects I imagine this'll get them there sooner rather than later. Zeke, the Mad Horrorist (Speak quickly) (Follow my trail) 11:57, 13 June 2017 (UTC)[reply]

Delete, there is no subsistantial information on the subject, except for his employment of about 8 years. Lordtobi () 15:58, 12 June 2017 (UTC)[reply]

  • Keep. He was a former CEO,[5] which makes the target and mentions appropriate, but is best known as the "business guy" behind Doom, as a secondary retarget. There is also possibly enough written on him for his own article, based on his later career at other game devs. That said, he's best known in association with the business part of Doom, which is as the redirect is currently targeted. czar 16:47, 12 June 2017 (UTC)[reply]
  • Keep as a key figure. AngusWOOF (barksniff) 19:14, 12 June 2017 (UTC)[reply]

ZeniMax Online[edit]

The result of the discussion was Snow keep.. (non-admin closure) Anarchyte (work | talk) 14:22, 16 June 2017 (UTC)[reply]

Delete as misleading, could refer either to ZeniMax Online Studios or ZeniMax Media's website. Lordtobi () 15:56, 12 June 2017 (UTC)[reply]

  • Keep It's not misleading at all. What you mean is that it is possibly ambiguous (and that is a big stretch). Numerous reliable video game sources shorten Zenimax Online Studios to Zenimax Online so it is completely valid. If you think the redirect is ambiguous, add a hatnote, don't nominate for deletion. --The1337gamer (talk) 16:16, 12 June 2017 (UTC)[reply]
  • Keep per The1337gamer. I don't think this is ambiguous at all, but if you do then add a hatnote as the current target is clearly primary. Thryduulf (talk) 16:26, 12 June 2017 (UTC)[reply]
  • Keep per above. All searches for the phrase under discussion lead or refer to the target in question. I don't see the use case for thinking that this would refer to ZeniMax's website, nevertheless why someone would be searching Wikipedia for the history of ZeniMax's website. czar 16:43, 12 June 2017 (UTC)[reply]
  • Keep: Obvious search term and not misleading redirect. KGirlTrucker81 huh? what I've been doing 17:09, 12 June 2017 (UTC)[reply]
  • Keep, per WP:SNOW because of my two cents - I can't imagine having an article on a website unless the website itself were the only component of this company, e.g. we have an article on Time (magazine) but not Time.com, its official website (redirects to the magazine in this case). We do however have an article on YouTube for obvious reasons and that's just a website, in essence. I can't imagine anyone getting mixed up looking for a website on Wikipedia. Zeke, the Mad Horrorist (Speak quickly) (Follow my trail) 11:51, 13 June 2017 (UTC)[reply]
  • Keep per above discussion --Lenticel (talk) 00:51, 16 June 2017 (UTC)[reply]

Bethesda Montreal[edit]

The result of the discussion was keep. (non-admin closure) Anarchyte (work | talk) 09:00, 20 June 2017 (UTC)[reply]

Delete as misleading, indicates that there is a business division of Bethesda Softworks in Montreal (which there is not), or a falsely disambiguation inexistent city "Bethesda, Montreal". Lordtobi () 15:55, 12 June 2017 (UTC)[reply]

  • Keep. Plenty of sources[6][7][8] czar 16:40, 12 June 2017 (UTC)[reply]
  • Keep - Thank you to Czar for finding those sources. Whether they ever operate under the name "Bethesda Montreal", I don't know, but it's harmless for Wikipedia to keep this, and there's no possible other target that I can see. - Richard Cavell (talk) 00:31, 13 June 2017 (UTC)[reply]

Bethesda Games[edit]

The result of the discussion was retarget to Bethesda Softworks. Hatnote added to point to Bethesda Game Studios. (non-admin closure) feminist 15:14, 20 June 2017 (UTC)[reply]

Delete, misleading: Could refer either the the developer, the publisher, or a probable list of games of either of the two prior. Lordtobi () 15:54, 12 June 2017 (UTC)[reply]

  • Don't delete. If the developer is the primary topic then keep as is and add a hatnote. If the publisher is primary then retarget there and add a hatnote. If the list of games is primary then retarget there and add a hatnote. If none of those are primary then disambiguate. Whatever happens this doesn't warrant deletion. Thryduulf (talk) 16:29, 12 June 2017 (UTC)[reply]
  • Retarget to Bethesda Softworks, which has the longer history and already covers (in brief) what the spun-out games studio creates. But this is undeniably a useful search term. (Also most searches for the phrase, outside of Electronic Entertainment Expo news, refer to the publisher.) For what it's worth, I don't see the good in how Bethesda Game Studios was split from Bethesda Softworks in the first place—I would have covered the former in a section of the latter's article... czar 16:38, 12 June 2017 (UTC)[reply]
  • Do not delete I am the original creator of the redirect. I don't know what is best here, but I'm sure deleting it isn't best. I created the redirect because I wanted to read the article about the game company that created the Elder Scrolls games, whatever its name was, and this is what I tried. I would have found a redirect to either Bethesda Softworks or Bethesda Game Studios acceptable, with or without hatnotes, and I would have much preferred to be "misled" in this way than to get the response I did get, which was that Wikipedia did not know what I was talking about and left me with nothing. —Mark Dominus (talk) 20:10, 12 June 2017 (UTC)[reply]

Bethesda VR[edit]

Delete, not in target article, seems like fan-named branding. Lordtobi () 15:53, 12 June 2017 (UTC)[reply]

  • Keep The initiative was announced last year at E3. Topic has over 3000 results from reliable video game sources, which means there is enough information to write about this topic in the target article. Instead of nominating redirects for deletion en-masse because not in target article, please at least try to research if the sources exist and information on the topic can be added to the target first. --The1337gamer (talk) 16:12, 12 June 2017 (UTC)[reply]
  • Keep per above. The company's VR efforts are widely referenced as "Bethesda VR" per a video game reliable sources custom Google search. "please at least try to research if the sources exist and information on the topic can be added to the target first" is also good advice, especially considering what I've already said at your prior noms in the past several weeks... czar 16:22, 12 June 2017 (UTC)[reply]
  • Keep per Czar. You are making a very large number of nominations, and it's not clear that you've fully researched all of them. Be careful this doesn't become disruptive. It is much better to go slower and fully research each redirect you nominate than to get through things quickly. Thryduulf (talk) 16:35, 12 June 2017 (UTC)[reply]
  • It's kind of a stretch to assume fans are calling something in Bethesda by this name just as a fan-naming thing. Unless they were actually dabbling in VR, I can't imagine why anyone would come up with this term in reference to what they were doing. Definitely keep per the three !votes so far. Zeke, the Mad Horrorist (Speak quickly) (Follow my trail) 11:54, 13 June 2017 (UTC)[reply]
  • Keep - This company is (re)releasing some of the landmark works in gaming history in virtual reality. They have simply added the letters "VR" to "Fallout 4" and "Doom". It's consistent with Bethesda's own naming practices for someone to search for the company name plus "VR" and expect to find our best article on the subject. - Richard Cavell (talk) 17:13, 13 June 2017 (UTC)[reply]

Delete, unlikely typo. Lordtobi () 15:52, 12 June 2017 (UTC)[reply]

The typo is "Bethasda" and the differentiation from other "Bethasdas" is "Softworks". Not difficult. czar 16:30, 12 June 2017 (UTC)[reply]
  • Keep per Czar and the above noise level number of hits this gets (24 last year). Thryduulf (talk) 16:37, 12 June 2017 (UTC)[reply]
  • Keep - this redirect is harmless and it gets the user to where they're going. - Richard Cavell (talk) 00:35, 13 June 2017 (UTC)[reply]
  • Weak keep, I suppose it's a likely mistake as a result of momentary confusion - I've had such moments myself. Zeke, the Mad Horrorist (Speak quickly) (Follow my trail) 11:47, 13 June 2017 (UTC)[reply]

The result of the discussion was delete. -- Tavix (talk) 17:38, 21 June 2017 (UTC)[reply]

Delete. Declined R3 as not created recently enough. Very unlikely the "e" would be omitted. UnitedStatesian (talk) 12:42, 12 June 2017 (UTC)[reply]

  • Delete pure typo, unlikely of repetition. --Bejnar (talk) 13:16, 12 June 2017 (UTC)[reply]
  • weak keep it got 20 hits last year, which is more than noise level. Also this has been around very nearly 10 years so why on earth you thought R3 would apply is mind boggling. Thryduulf (talk) 16:40, 12 June 2017 (UTC)[reply]
    • The R3 was in '10 when it was created in '07. Mind still boggled? UnitedStatesian (talk) 13:04, 13 June 2017 (UTC)[reply]
      • Slightly less, but 3 months is not recent enough for R3 purposes, let alone 3 years. Thryduulf (talk) 22:25, 13 June 2017 (UTC)[reply]
  • Delete: implausible typo that serves only to crowd out more relevant suggestions in the search box drop-down list. – Uanfala 18:56, 12 June 2017 (UTC)[reply]
  • Keep per WP:RTYPO. Skipping a keystroke is a likely mistake, I do it all the time. As for the autocomplete suggestion list, that seems to be more of a flaw in the system than any problem inherent with this redirect - perhaps a tweak to exclude RTYPO pages? Zeke, the Mad Horrorist (Speak quickly) (Follow my trail) 11:45, 13 June 2017 (UTC)[reply]
  • Delete - Other spelling errors such as mixing up an "i" and "e" are not be easily noticeable to those less versed in English, while Leaving out an "e" on the word "the" is noticeable to those less versed in English. Delete, this could either refer to this game, its sequel, or the remastered collection, but we cannot determin what the user is actually looking for. Lordtobi () 07:02, 12 June 2017 (UTC)[reply]

  • Retarget to Lego Harry Potter which has a hatnote up front for the video games. AngusWOOF (barksniff) 07:33, 12 June 2017 (UTC)[reply]
  • No doubt that users will be looking for this topic by this name, but the the series article is the obvious redirect target. Retarget to Lego Harry Potter, where they can figure out which one they want. Ideally, there would be a section on the games in the article. czar 16:26, 12 June 2017 (UTC)[reply]
  • What AngusWOOF said. Zeke, the Mad Horrorist (Speak quickly) (Follow my trail) 11:59, 13 June 2017 (UTC)[reply]
  • Retarget to Lego Harry Potter#Video games, where I've created a brief section to cover both video games, along with a bundled collection. -- Tavix (talk) 17:37, 13 June 2017 (UTC)[reply]
@Tavix: It's also possible the user is looking for Lego Creator: Harry Potter or its successor Creator: Harry Potter and the Chamber of Secrets (although that article is unsourced). Shhhnotsoloud (talk) 15:26, 17 June 2017 (UTC)[reply]
