I think this probably should be deleted, but I'm not an expert and also don't know well what other potential targets are out there. Not all neoplasms are cancer, so this redirect doesn't make sense. I noticed it while at the article Ovarian serous cystadenoma, which states, "Ovarian serous cystadenoma ... is the most common ovarian neoplasm, representing 20% of ovarian neoplasms, and is benign." I clicked onto ovarian neoplasm and got directed to ovarian cancer -- clearly not the right target, and potentially distressing for readers looking for information on a potentially benign condition and being directed to a cancer article. Not sure about this one. The target article states that the subject of the target article was in one way or another had some of its gameplay mechanics inspired by Ninja Gaiden, but it doesn't seem like the redirect was an official nickname for the target. Also, in my experiences with video games and related subjects, since I didn't know what this redirect referred to, if I searched the redirect, I would have expected to arrive at some sort of game genre mashup article like Metroidvania. There were some confusing moves which resulted in a couple of strange redirects.

When I spotted the page User:Old Wise/Alejandro Correa Rueda, there were three pages:

At first, I misinterpreted the situation because of the confusing redirects: I thought that the article inappropriately had been moved from Alejandro Correa Rueda to Wikipedia:Alejandro Correa Rueda, so I swapped the two pages by moving the draft from the project to the article namespace. After that, I discovered that this was incorrect: this copy of the article had never been in the article namespace (there had only ever been a redirect there), but other copies of the article had been deleted in Wikipedia:Articles for deletion/Alejandro Correa Rueda and per WP:G4. Realising my mistake, I decided that the correct thing was to undo the original page move of the article draft from the user namespace to the project namespace, sending it back to User:Old Wise/Alejandro Correa Rueda. When this page move finally had been done, the two redirects had ended up at Draft:Alejandro Correa Rueda and User:Old Wise/Alejandro Correa Rueda 2.

I think that the page doesn't need any redirects from anywhere, but because of the confusing move history, I feel uncomfortable tagging them for speedy deletion, so instead I list the redirects here for review. --Stefan2 (talk) 17:55, 15 June 2016 (UTC)[reply]

  • Seems that these redirects were are both {{R from move}}'s. I'm going to sit this one out for now until I can better understand what is going on so that I can form an opinion in the matter. (From a basic look through, my first though is to "reverse the moves that created these redirects", but I'm not sure that is the best course of action and will have to look at this further.)     • Both redirects were originally at User:Old Wise/Alejandro Correa Rueda, but there's currently another article there. That page shortly ended up in the project namespace, but the page should not be there, so I sent it back to the original location. If you have another place where we can put User:Old Wise/Alejandro Correa Rueda, then fine, but the uploader has only ever used that page title and an inappropriate page title in the project namespace, so it seems more appropriate to have the page there instead of having a redirect there. One of the redirects was at Alejandro Correa Rueda for some time, but if you move it back there, then it would automatically satisfy deletion per WP:R2. --Stefan2 (talk) 22:06, 15 June 2016 (UTC)[reply]

The redirect is not mentioned in the target article, and I'm not finding any references that this is redirect is a notable alternate name for the target. If anything, this redirect is probably either a hoax or vandalism. Steel1943 (talk) 17:31, 15 June 2016 (UTC)[reply]

On second thought, I don't think it's a good idea to have a dab when there's an unambiguous current capital; these things could get ridiculous as probably most places have moved their capitals.
