Article is a biography of a footballer who does not and has never existed. Thus fails at the very least WP:GNG and WP:NFOOTY. Ytfc23 (talk) 21:44, 20 April 2016 (UTC)[reply]

  • Delete. Appears to be a clear hoax. No Google references exist for this player in conjunction with Yeovil Town, a virtual impossibility for any recent player with a League One club. The supposed 15 January 2010 match between Yeovil and Mansfield Town did not exist; see 2009–10 Yeovil Town F.C. season, which also makes no mention of Thomas Stokes. Similarly, Google searches reveal absolutely no indication of the subject appearing for either of his alleged subsequent clubs, Grays Athletic and Southend United. • Delete, the given refs in that article don't seem to exist or demonstrate the subject's existence, even via archives. However, there is Thomas Lunsford Stokes and potentially others, so without prejudice to repurposing for a redirect or disambig page. Dl2000 (talk) 23:19, 20 April 2016 (UTC)[reply]
  • Speedy delete as blatant hoax. As Calamondin12 says above, if he played for a League One club in recent times, Google would have heard of him in that context: it hasn't. The match in which he suppsedly made his debut didn't happen; Yeovil weren't even in the same division as Mansfield: see Yeovil's results for that season. If subject had made league appearances for Yeovil Town, he would appear in this list of Yeovil players and in this list of Yeovil players and on this website: he doesn't. It's a hoax. cheers, Struway2 (talk) 09:36, 21 April 2016 (UTC)[reply]
