Translation Request

Hi there-- Could you please translate these two phrases that I believe are Portuguese (if you know Portuguese)? They're in the article you created recently (Fort_of_the_Espírito_Santo).

  • Forte do Espírito Santo, Praia da Vitória: panorâmica do remanescente do pano da muralha.
  • Forte do Espírito Santo, Praia da Vitória: detalhe do remanescente da muralha.

They're both captions beneath photos towards the bottom of the page. If you don't know their translation, no worries! I can find someone else to translate them.

Thanks! Newyorkadam (talk) 05:17, 30 December 2013 (UTC)Newyorkadam

Sorry, didn't see these (photo captions on the left side):
  • Forte do Espírito Santo (autor desconhecido, s/d, Arquivo Histórico Militar).
  • Planta do Forte do Espírito Santo (Damião Pego, Agosto de 1881).
Thanks :) Newyorkadam (talk) 21:18, 30 December 2013 (UTC)Newyorkadam
P.S. I really like your userpage's design :)

I have changed the status of my usership to semi-retired, I had previously given up on Wikipedia, but have found a new vigor to act on, I appreciate your calling the status of the template on my userpage to my attention. I haven't moved the castle without discussion, I believe you mean I have brought up discussions. As you know, from our previous discussions, I have always been hesitant and disliking of geoboxes, but I have held my tongue, because other things interested me. I know find myself wishing to return to this topic of page structures and naming issues. I do hope the possibility of us being on opposite sides of a discussion doesn't our relationship, as I have considered ours to be one of general friendliness on Wikipedia. Thank you, Cristiano Tomás (talk) 22:17, 11 February 2014 (UTC)

What are you talking about, you seem to be scolding me on my own talk page for correcting a mistake you made by adding two geoboxes. Yes I will definitely defend my points and arguments. Good day, Cristiano Tomás (talk) 22:33, 11 February 2014 (UTC)

Editor of the Week

Editor of the Week
Your ongoing efforts to improve the encyclopedia have not gone unnoticed: You have been selected as Editor of the Week, for extensive article work, specifically relating to geography and translation. Thank you for the great contributions! (courtesy of the Wikipedia Editor Retention Project)

User:Go Phightins! submitted the following nomination for Editor of the Week:

I nominate Zeorymer as Editor of the Week for eight years of under-recognized editing. He just received his first barnstar in late December of 2013; one barnstar, however, does not atone for the eight years and over 14,000 edits (over 75% of which to article space) that he has contributed, predominantly on geography and translation work from Portugese to English, specifically related to the Azores. Consequently, it is with great pleasure that I nominate Zeorymer for recognition as Editor of the Week, as he is exactly the type of editor we set out to recognize one year ago.

You can copy the following text to your user page to display a user box proclaiming your selection as Editor of the Week:
