dhoby ghaut mrt station

hello, ZKang123! i had a question regarding this blurb for this article. whenever a blurb's run date is chosen to commemorate an anniversary of a date relevant to the featured subject, the relevant date is often mentioned in full in the blurb. as i noticed that this blurb is scheduled to run on an anniversary of the date when train services commenced at this station, i had attempted to include the date in the blurb, but could not figure out how to do so without either making a significant edit or going over the targeted character limit. do you think it would be appropriate to replace the fifth sentence with the following?

Constructed as part of Phase I of the MRT network, the station commenced operations on 12 December 1987.

please note that this statement will no longer state that phase i was completed in 1987. also, i feel that "the station commenced operations" sounds better than "the station commenced train services", but i am unsure if it remains technically correct, and would also like to know your opinion on the matter. dying (talk) 05:42, 10 December 2021 (UTC)

woodleigh mrt station

ZKang123, i had a question regarding this article and the associated blurb. does mount vernon columbarium still exist? the straits times has previously reported that the complex would be cleared for development, and that niches should be claimed by 2017. however, i cannot tell if the columbarium still exists, as the new paper reported in 2018 that construction of the funeral parlour that would replace the columbarium was expected to begin in 2021 and be completed by 2024, while the straits times reported in 2021 that it should be completed in 2025, so it seems possible that the columbarium is still there and construction has yet to start. regardless, this national environment agency source states that all niches have been relocated or removed, so even if the columbarium still exists, it may simply be empty.

the cited sbs transit source does list the columbarium as a point of interest, but the map it provides may be outdated compared to, for example, the one on openstreetmap.

by the way, if you think the columbarium should remain mentioned, i should note that i had been thinking of removing the definite article before it, to conform with the other places mentioned in the list. however, i understand that whether a definite article should be used before a proper name is often based on local practice, so i wanted to see what you thought first. the definite article is used in the article lead, but not in the article body. dying (talk) 10:36, 14 June 2022 (UTC)

Peer review of Lake Street Transfer station

I've been a lifelong fan of the Chicago "L" and am somewhat disappointed that it doesn't seem to have any articles at Featured Status. I'm currently working on Lake Street Transfer station and have gotten it to GA status. While I have a few Four Awards under my belt on Wikipedia, I haven't written much on railroads/rapid transit specifically, so I was wondering whether you could have a look and make broad suggestions on what to do to bring it up to FA candidacy status.

Admittedly I don't have much to say, though I have this essay which might apply.
The article seems to be in great shape, but what's missing are details like the platform alignment (side vs island) and also details on its past location and services. And perhaps any documentation on the station design. I think some of the history section is full of these details; you can shift them around.

Request for use of images

This is Olivia from Kinetic Singapore, we are a local design and advertising agency, fortunate to have also worked with many different types of clients in the past 20 years.

We are working on an upcoming property project and are looking to include images of some of the nearer MRT stations in the brochure which will be launched in March/April.

We saw the image of Tanjong Pagar (File:EW15 Tanjong Pagar MRT Exit A 20211118 141138.jpg) you uploaded, we thought it might be suitable but are still subject to approvals from our client.

We also understand from the license information that it is published under the Creative Commons Attribution-Share Alike 4.0 International license, and that commercial use it technically allowed, with abidance to some T&Cs.

Before we propose the suitable images to the client, I wanted to check in to be extra sure of the licensing requirements we need to meet to be able to make use of your image.

Also..if we are able to come into agreement, I wanted to check if the 4,000 × 3,000 pixels version of the image is the highest resolution that you can share?
